Its no surprise. The rest of the world outside the NA seems to have no problem buying the PS3. Its a good system with a nice variety of games.

Mario IS overused and milked. But so are a lot of things. Guitar Hero, Ratchet and Clank, Halo etc. Why is it everyone is always trying to deny Mario is too? It is what it is. Mario has been that way since they made the 9th Mario Party, the 7th Mario Kart and put Mario in every popular sport even the Olympics at least twice. I used to be a big Nintendo fanboy and even I could see that. Why so defensive everytime anyone points it out?
It really isn't that good a game. Everything in it from sounds to weapons to enemies to AI is subpar. The reviews are right. Just because we need more original shooters and games doesn't excuse you from half @$$ed attempts. Try new things AND present your game well. Enslaved for example would have been recieved better if they had taken the time to tighten up the controls and polish the visuals
First of all, you must have played a different beta because it is no where as bad as you make it sound. What do you mean the camera lurchs forward when you run? Secondly, I don't understand how you can judge a game on MP alone when that is only one part of the game and lastly so far reviews of the game have been way above average and I have seen no mention of the MP being a problem. I think you are not only being hasty based on a beta but over exaggerating as well

I always thought that Chimera weapons always had a neo industrial steampunk look to them. It looks even more so now that the weapons we use look like they have been patched together by humanity. I think I might have even saw tape holding together the Mutator in that video.

Yeah! That's four 9s and two 8s so far. I knew Insomniac wouldn't disappoint. And the MP is starting to grow on me. Getting less deaths and more kills and assists by the day.

No, I wouldn't put either the Xbox,Gamecube or N64 above the PS3. I agree with everything else though. Best consoles ever though are PS2 and SNES. Best console memories ever.

The climbing,walking and running seem to be a lot smoother then the beta was. Nice.
Colossus of Rhodes, battle with Zeus in GOW2 and Sisters of Faith. I especially liked the part when the sisters tried to destroy the sword you used against Ares in GOW 1 and you had to defend it. @ rogimusprime. And having to protect your family while doing it didn't help.
