The thing is a PS3 isn't mostly an online experience like a 360 is. I don't even use my PSEYE microphone when playing online MP. I just support my team. If you want mostly an online MP experience you invest in a microphone. But you can play most PS3 games without ever going on line ever.
It's amazing what people consider a 'huge gap' these days. The PS2 and PS1 were ahead of the competition by several tens of millions of units. Now that was a huge gap.
Not so hard to believe. Resistance is a good FPS and from what I have seen they really looked like they worked hard this one.
Actually I liked how they did the regenerated health in R1. It was helpful in bad situations but you still had to be careful so you wouldn't lose a bar of health. It wasn't like all the other games where you just hide and recover completely. It was a very good idea and they never get credit for thinking it up.
You know if I sat down right now and told everyone why I think half the games that people praise to high heaven are overrated I would lose the last bubble I have here. And yet people allow these blogs and opinion pieces from just anyone to be submitted to N4G.
I could give reasons too. Lots of well thought out logical reasons why many games are overrated from story, to sloppiness, to one dimensional characters, to just plain laziness. But I would be labelled a troll and call...
Your entitled to your opinion but you said so many wrong things. First of all being out sold by the DS didn't do anything to the PSP. It still sells today at 72 million units plus. Secondly we have already seen the long list of games they have for the VITA and adding in PSP, PS1, PSN and maybe even PS2 games will give it lots of software including making lots of PSP games better because of the Dual joysticks.

Okay that makes sense.3D without glasses is a bad idea anyway. I never understood how anyone could watch anything staring at a particular spot with your head completely straight. If anything at least you can move you head and look at other parts of the screen with 3D glasses. Don't see how not having the glasses is better in any way.
No big deal about memory space. I'll just buy physical copies of the VITA games and use it for everything else like minis and PSN games.16 gigs should suffice for now.
This is why Sony buys game studios. They don't have to listen to the lame excuses, go through all the red tape and wait until the developer decides to give us the game long afterwards. For instance Bastion. Its on the 360 and the PC. So what's with the 'maybe we might get it'? Why not give it to us too? Its obviously not an exclusive, so why not make a version for PSN too?

Home has 23 million people using it last count. I am not sure how it is that the fact that people use Home confuses people so. If you don't like it fine but let the people who do use it use it. The 360 isn't on top. It's barely even at the summit.The PS1 and PS2 beat the competition by tens of millions. The 360 is ahead of the PS3 by a few million and behind the Wii by at least 10 or 20 million and suddenly their on top? Call us when you reach 150 million plus units sold or at least as much as a Wii or PSP.
Why does everyone think because of one singular situation it automatically means that same situation will happen again?
