Developers will learn to use the cell chip over time,they can only get better and better with this new technology. While with just having DVD9 your stuck with same storage that was pretty much used too its limits last generation. The only way Dev's can go, is add more dvd's if they expect the newer games to be better than current ones.
If you enlarge the picture of the 80gb packaging, the picture of the controller actually has a red ps button. So that pic we saw a few months ago wasn't a photoshoped screen.
I don't think online play matters that much, most people still don't use their consoles for the internet.
I play online, but playing online is quite a difference experience, while playing online you loose some of that social aspect.IMO over all I prefer to play with people I know, rather than online. And I could understand that most other would people feel the same way, and would be turned off by online play.

that Singstar, Eye Toy, Buzz series on the playstation are casual audience games, and once casual gamers pick these games up, they are more than likely to keep buying a newer versions of these franchises. I believe these games are a good example of casual gamers buying habits. So I would disagree with you that casual gamers don't buy games. The only difference between the Playstation and the Wii is that there are more games aimed at this audience.

What are you talking about? This isn't even debatable. Of course games have the potential to look better on Blu-ray. More space equates to more everything. And Blu-ray holds more, a lot more.
Of course this is all on the developers part to use that space and use it wisely.
MS canceled all new software support for it, so if no one is making any new gamees for it, why would anyone buy it.

I read somewhere that they might change the anolog triggers a bit, although that could just have been a rumor.
I know a lot of people recon that they need to make the triggers a little concave or come out a little. But I recon they only need to make them rubberized like the anolog sticks.

I don't know whats before pre-aplha stage, but dawn thats the most amazing stuff iv'e EVER seen in a game, seriously that was a mind blowing trailer. Imagine what the finished product will look like, or even the beta. I would easily say that this game looks better than any other game i've ever seen.
