Its not supposed to be perfect at emulating a mouse. But from what I've heard the FragFX is the closest to emulating a mouse out of the other devices that are out there(also from the videos I've seen on youtube it seems to do a lot better job than the XFPS pro).

All the problems like slow turning, weapon selecting in Warhawk and the buttons not being sensitive enough have apparently been fixed by the patch they've released. That you update your device with.

Is that reviewers are just normal people and their reviews should be viewed light heartedly. And people should just try the game themselves once released or make what they can from the review instead of relying so much on the final score.

With motion controls, for example. I know alot of people hate motion controls, including my friend. Even if it works well like in Warhawk. Or with some Wii games, my friend dosn't really get it as to why people find it fun, even when he can use th...

go on about these reviewers on game sites or magazines, how their expert reviewers and how much they trust there opinion. But they fact is that a review should be taken lightly because the reviewers are no different from everyone else.

1. Theres alot of people don't use PS3 to play BR movies

2. Most people that buy the standard HD/BR players are big tech, movie enthusiast and are more willing to spend more money on discs, even with the price of HD/BR discs.

3. The small library of BR(compared to DVD) gives less mainstream less incentive to buy.

4. Most people that do buy movies for PS3 are your average movie buyer. Alot of movie tech enthusiasts would frown on the PS3 because its ...

that in the future larger HDD is gonna be very useful since its already obvious that demos are getting larger. R&C demo is already 1.6GB. And with games like KZ2 where its 2GB per level I can see that demo being over 2GB. I can see anything over 2GB is gonna be the standard for demos. Let alone the services Sony is gonna add later.

I wonder if Sony mentioned at the TGS that it as using old technology in their controllers as a buffer, just in case the developers incorporate it into their demo's badly since they only had it a week before the show.

to me that it might very between exclusive's and multi platforms. So maybe thats a reason why some feel like old school rumble while others don't?

I recon it needs work. The store feels like it was originally designed for mouse use. And Navigating the site could be easier with a controller. For example. Such as going back to previous page, could be assigned to L2, and going forward could be R2 . I feel there could be a use in selecting things with the analog stick in a rotation type fashion, so you can go from one corner to the next within one movement(vertically, horizontally ,diagonally, rotation) , a bit like how the voice commands w...

that the 180s sometimes don't execute sometimes, even when you think you got the controls down. Is that true? does it get annoying?

6739d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Lots of other people that own the game say the controls are no where near as bad as what the reviewers made it out to be.

that the dev's wanted a more realistic movement of the dragon, just think about it. Imagine your riding a giant bat or a glider. you wouldn't be able to make sharp turns a-pon sharp turns instantly. Remember where talking about a dragon here that uses its wings to glide most of the time, plus you have to take into account something that heavy moving through the air.

If you look at the parts where hes only making a subtle movements you'll notice it looks quite responsive(which i...

is this pathetic? It just shows everyone that the controls arn't as bad as the reviewers made them out to be.

I think for this game it just proves that because the motion control is a new thing that it has a bit of learning curve to it. And that you have to take the time to get used to it. Just like any new control scheme.

The more I look at what people are saying that own the game, and the vid that are coming in, the more I'm thinking that the reviewers where wrong, and didn't bother to learn the motion controls or got payed off.

the thing isn't it, you gotta look past the present and think what possibilities it could open up for the future. Yes with the PSP control's it would kinda suck balls for a lot of games(unless adjusted, maybe). I'm hoping that Sony will make use of their patent to attach the PS3 controller up to the PSP. As for you commenting on Lair, maybe the control's do suck(I dunno, I havn't played it). But you gotta look at the broader side to this, as to what it could hold for future games. Who knows? ...

I hope it comes to light. As much as attaching the PS3 controller to the PSP would be cool. They should make a cord(optional) long enough so it can be used like it would on the PS3 with sixaxis movement and all. While the PSP just sits on a stand of some kind. That way you'll be able to use the sixaxis movement without moving the screen.

then if they told everyone that they where gonna drop the price of the 80GB version, people would wait for the price drop and they would have an excess of 60GB.

And they never lied to the public about the price drop, they just worded well, so that it would make people perceive that the PS3 would be $500 for a limited time. I remember them saying "that the 60GB would be $500 for a limited time, because where fazing them out" and thats exactly what they where doing, that ...

the same with most games though. They concentrate on most important things, and graphics. Then they work on the AI and touching up later.

Anyways they said in a recent interview that the game still needs a lot of polishing up and are still working on the AI.

I think its looking real impressive already, graphics/effects wise.

between FPS and third-person shooters is that with third-person view you can look around corners, which changes things only a little.
