While the points are great I dislike being told to click the next button so that it loads and gives the next point. Why not write them altogether?
Plus they'll try to make this game look much better than Unity while giving players a hands on demo so that they can say that the game already runs and plays better and lesser possibility to turn out bad. Look on the bright side: Ubisoft will get a LOT of feedback of what works and what doesn't work in Syndicate and fix them. They should have pulled this strategy a long time ago. More playtesters=better game development.
The fact that this demo can be played, I think the demo mission will be a very open ended one.
Unless...
-There are original high quality French accents
-Bugs and glitches are NEXT GEN i.e more dynamic and unpredictable.
-Graphics are downgraded for better optimization.
-Uncharted 3-like melee brawl-only combat.
Liked Blood money more.
I have a question: A friend told me that you can ride all the way from one major location of a map to another major location of a different map without a loading screen. But when I get to the end of one map I get a warning message "You're at the end of the world. Turn around. NOW!" and Geralt automatically turns around. So how do you ride through one map to another? Like from White Orchard to Novigrad?
Re load that map. I had this issue. Now it's fixed. The question marks actually give you an excitement to explore. I like it.
I hope the melee combat has hidden blade combat fused with it. I don't want an Uncharted type melee combat- which is exactly what Syndicate seems like..
Were they expecting a "New Gotham"? I hopw the game becomes a critical hit like Arkham City.
Origins wae brilliant from my perspective. It felt like a psychological thriller. Esp how Joker messed up everyone's minds, poisoned X person with laughing gas and tortured that person later. It had that horror vibe to it. A nice origins story if you ask me.
Bigger+ More features were also in Arkham Origins. Look how it's turned out. It's all about the execution.
Why is everyone treating data streaming as if it's something new? Associating it with cloud, internet and other irrelevant stuffs?
Data streaming is how opoen world loads constantly without loading screens. Every open world game had that. The problem was how efficiently and quickly it's done. Data streaming is nothing new.
Good news so far. Now... about the annualization...
Prey 2 was confirmed cancelled ( http://www.ign.com/articles...
As for Dishonored 2 I think they are going to reveal it. I mean the will have a terrible E3 if they don't bring out the main attractions. Also they could be planning a shock factor by throwing rumors that Dishonored 2 and Fallout won't be coming at E3 and then surprising everyone with a releav trailer and demo at ...
Bring out every single possible villain from DC's Batman comics. If possible revive Ra's Al Ghul (since he claims to be immortal. And it'd be an interesting twist). And also send out dead villains against Batman when he gets infected by the Scarecrow toxin.
About his glance. Right?
Boy Wonder...
So far I liked it.
I'm certain Bethesda won't let down with this huge game. This is like their most important gme since Skyrim.
But I still want Dishonored 2.
