I'm in the same boat as you really, E3 will be the 'decider' for me as to whether or not grab the console at launch (or even the immediate period beyond).
I'll be too busy (hopefully) enjoying the games.
Thanks for commenting though!
I know! There's not enough side scrollers as it is :(
I'm personally of the opinion that the world needs more side-scrolling brawlers.
This one in particular looks like its pretty good, though not essential.
I'll probably wait for a price drop before I invest however.
Now this stirs my pot.
I'm a big fan of action RPG's and have always wished that someone, somewhere would pull their finger out and do something with the Van Helsing mythology.
While this looks pretty interesting, I'm quite sure I wouldn't have the tact to go down the diplomatic route in many of the game's encounters :)
As always, it should come down to the games and really, surely that's all any of us in this place really care about?
Let E3 be in the history books two weeks from now and then we can fellate/shit fury on them as appropriate.
Very enjoyable game indeed!
I agree with you - they played it extremely safe.
Dark Forces 2 was incredible.
Indeed. Long before they were shut down, LucasArts were a shadow of their former selves.
Definitely. Its been a long while since I found myself so hopelessly engrossed with a game like this!
That's the sort of the impression I get really.
Stuff like the sandbox and squad elements that they're trying to incorporate into the single-player side of things are welcome additions indeed!
I completely agree with you on the multiplayer front; that'll be where fans of the series truly gauge their success I believe.
Yeah, those faces are errie indeed. Speaking of L.A. Noire, I do wonder how their next game, Whore of the Orient (working title) is shaping up.
Its been a bit quiet on that front lately.
But this is Team Bondi we're talking about so that's par for the course I guess :)
Oooh, this should be rather incendiary :)
I didn't hold out much hope for this after playing the demo.
What a pile of shit.
This is a crazy good year for sure.
We've already had the likes of Tomb Raider, Year Walk, Metal Gear Rising: Revengance, DmC and much more besides.
I can't wait to see what the rest of the year will bring!
Yeah certainly. Its a deceptively distracting game that's for sure!
It honestly wouldn't surprise me to see them moving to a multi-tiered model.
If they can keep up the incredible momentum they have sustained with PS Plus, I can't see any reason to complain either!
