BUT, idk, it's like someone's made a masterpiece using Microsoft Paint. There are better tools out there, LBP2 obvious lets you do some amazing stuff, but I'd rather pick up an actual FPS than play this jerky game play.

Destructiod is being harsh, but that is what Zipper should get for not listening and following its fan base and splitting the game into two with it's "Classic" mode. Trying to appeal to the masses = lose of fan base. This will be my first SOCOM game skipped (but not because of this review).
I am not even counting year 1 for PS3. No one had a PS3 it seemed like, too expensive. The PS3 was made to outlast the competitors. Amazing job, blew away my expectations. Only thing I thought was a little off was the placement of the music at certain points, but that is nothing compared to this achievement. Kinda makes some movies with real budgets and actors look stupid.

As long at the 5 guys are your friends or willing not to run out and fuck everything up, then it's fun. If you're the guy always trying to get to your guys to revive them, it sucks, especially on hard difficulty. Not to mention team killers that think it's funny to join a squad and then kill everyone about 20 seconds into the game.
But SOCOM:CA was pretty fun and I can see what IGN is talking about.

I remember staying up all night with like 20 friends playing Halo LAN, and I did some in College with Halo2, but I think me and my friends are getting old and shit, I haven't done that in a long time.
