Its no joke amazon fire tv is number 1 in consoles on...well amazon.co.uk. Lets see how long that lasts.
Makes sense all the other android based systems have sold so well......
It is kinda sad seeing the vita game selection in some stores, which is maybe what turns people off but if you go on psn it has loads of great games and the fact it has psp and psone games to just makes it even better.
I think i have more vita games on my memory card than my local Game does.
I picked up a kinect pre-owned and it was pretty cheap, i def got my monies worth with forza horizon, skyrim and rise of nightmares. I thought itd been pretty useful in gtaV, switching weapons, using the cell, switching characters and using the map.
The saturn was great too, loved all the sega arcade ports :)
Tell that to my vitas content manager, as when i plug my vita into my ps3 it doesnt see it.
Also its not in the psone section on the vitas store.
It maybe compatible with it in the USA but it's not in Europe. Like how the crash bandicot games work on it in europe but not the states.
Shame it's not vita compatible.Will just have to play it at home.
The amount of games ive got off ps+ really balances out the cost of the memory cards, so i really haven't minded.

I guess the same way studios make money on netflix or amazon video or the 'free' games on ps+, while i dont know how it works it's gotta be benifical or they just wouldnt bother.
I can see why being able to stream ps3 games to a ps3 makes sense, say i haven't played the last of us yet, but i want to but i dunno if i'll like it. I can pay a few quid to play it for afew hours, if i like i go out and buy it, if i dont sony have made abit of money off me for ...
If they include a netflix style price plan, i'd jump all over that (£5 to £10, a month i'd be in). But how the prices are looking at the moment, i'd rather just buy them right out.
I just wish they'd hurry up and get atleast the beta set up in europe.
Very excited about mkX, prob move on to ps4 when it comes out and i'm really hoping it comes to vita too like mortal kombat and injustice as i love playing them on the go.

You can get some goood emulators on windows phone, i have a psone, snes, gba, gbc and mega drive on my nokia lumia.
Ps+ is a great way to games, i'd been downloading the vita games to my ps3 and in march when i bought one i already had a great selection of games.
My tip for gaming on the cheap is make an amazon wish list, stick the games you want on that as its a good way of watching the price drop, so when it's in your price range you can snap it up.
Capcom should take direction from lost in nightmares & revelations (though only the chris and jill sections, the others kinda meh).
I'd go for a remake of 2 in the style of the gamecube remake first though.
If i was a betting man, id be thinking of a wii u redesign/relaunch as it would be crazy to push out a new system.
A smaller sleeker gamepad, about vita size with better battery lenght and stronger signal to be able to play off tv futher away in the house and for the wii u itself smack in a hard drive and ramp up media support, like why is tvii still not up and running in europe etc? seems to just be forgotten about.

A redsigned wii u would be the least crazy but surely that'd just piss off everybody who has a wii u and all the people about to buy the mario kart 8 bundle.
I think a new handheld would be mad considering how well the 3ds is doing.

You have to wonder how the dreamcast situation could have played out differently if they weren't already on a downward spiral.
I think games wise the dreamcast at this point had a better selection of games than the wii u does, yeah the couple of mario games are great, as is wind waker and a couple of other gems but the dreamcast had such a great variety of games, which is why mine is still hooked up to my tv.
I think theres quite a difference between what microsoft did with the original xbox and what google are doing.
MS designed a system to compete against home systems, google have made a console that plays phone and tablet games.
If google had made a system similar to the x1 or ps4 running android and where selling it as a full fat system, then maybe there money might make a differnce. But this is basically them trying to make you watch orange is the new black...
