Saved this post to my bookmarks. So that I can show anybody that would like to say otherwise about games. People go to work then come home and watch the telly all day everyday. So what if I spend every waking second of my life playing video games. As long as I'm working for a living I can do whatever I damn well please with my time. All games are repetitive, it doesn't really matter though if its fun. Go play cards, a board game, or go gamble, and you'll see that any game can be repetitive. What is it that doesn't make games repetitive? A well developed branching storyline is about as good as it gets. Otherwise games are inherently repetitive just like life. Jaffe is right the reviewer is a scumbag and should try and review as little as possible. Maybe just COD and HALO games, or just off brand FPS games. He would of made a good brink reviewer. Probably would of given it a 5/5. Any FPS he reviews would get a 5/5.
Gamers need to actually play the full game or the demo. Then make up their own minds about how good the game is. I played the demo for quite a bit, and can say the negatives about this game are unjustified. Like the graphics not being next-gen graphics. I stopped playing Skyrim on my PS3 not cause I wanted to. This patch is the last straw for me if this doesn't fix half the issues with the PS3 version of the game I'm selling that version and waiting until it's less than $30 for the PC version. Hopefully by then I'll have a better gaming rig.
HD remakes are not mandatory, but games on a gaming console are. If your coming out with Gears 3 one year and Halo 4 the next then your competition doesn't have much competition. Multiplatform titles are all good and well, but you need at the very least three quality exclusive games per year to be called a quality game console. google halo 2 maps there were over 20 halo 2 maps and more than 10 were just pure classic. Bungie really outdid themselves with Halo 2.

There was this mission that had me going to a dungeon to kill something and there was a dragon just flying around the open valley and when I got close to the valley it would attack. I couldn't even make it to the mission cause the dungeon was right in the middle. I finally gave up after the 7th try.

The whole reason I picked up my Xbox 360 instead of a PS3 back in 2007 was because of Bioshock, Halo 3 and Mass Effect. Now all those games are on the PS3. I wish I could go back in time! I actually read the whole interview in GameInformer and the reason there's no Conkers, Perfect Dark, Goldeneye, or Banjo is because the people who work at Rare didn't want to work on those titles anymore. Phil Spencer said that he wasn't about to tell any company Microsoft owns what they should and should not make. By that time I'm getting shot at by ground troops or tanks. Ohh and the javelin only has two rounds, it usually takes two rounds to kill a tank anyways. Then your left with nothing but a repair tool which can kill a stupid tank, but normally the tank drives off or the driver gets out and shoots me down real quick. Well I've unlocked a hell of a lot of gun upgrades for many different types of guns. I started out only playing with Assault class for a long while until I became frustrated with the lack of anti-tank, and anti-air teammates on almost every match.
