theres acually a few formats battling it out. Nividea is pushing one 3d for pcs,sony pushing one for ps3/tvs and panasonic pushing the same as sony but different. Avatar is only going to panasonic 3d tvs while some sony films wil be on only sony bluray/tvs. Sony glasses dont work with other tvs panasonic wont work with sony its all messed up. Id wait for a standard to emerge myself.
anaglyph does suck but sterioscopic has been here since the 50s also. My mom used to see movies in 3d in the 60s with the same type glasses you watch with avatar. It was huge almost every film was in 3d. It faded and is now the new(old) fad again. Do some research 3d isnt new and in the 50s it failed using the same 3d as todays imax theaters (not anaglyph) polarized lenses. The only difference is they didnt have 3d tvs and the tvs use shutter lenses.
there are good rpgs...wrpgs-divinity 2, risen, gothic 4, ect..jrpgs-lost odyssey, blue dragon, magna carta 2, tales of vesperia, ect...I agree with game of the year additions like oblivion and fallout but generally wrpgs have more expansions than dlc so its worth it. Only japan gets jrpg dlc and its just outfits or gaining levels for lazy gamers.
i stil play san andreas on my 360. It came in it when my friend gave it to me. Il buy this seing as i skipped out on gta4.
lost planet 1 was good but frustrating. The second is awsome but i f***** hate that its so damn hard on singleplayer. I HATE all this co-op shi* also. I like the option of it and love split screen but make the games around the singleplayer campaign please. That ruined re5 for me. It was done really well there but the co-op and the all action ruined it. They have some good games and franchises though. Im suprised lp2 didnt sell more it was a big blockbuster with shooting and beautiful graphics...
that is true people will still be playing reach/black ops/moh/crysis 2/rage this is a big online title and people play those for a long time so you want it a ways apart plus this will probably be the last halo/gow for the 360. After this its on to the 720 i believe they started on a next gen halo already. This release will prolong the death of the 360 until 2012 when either the new xbox comes or the world ends. Wel see which happens first lol.
it wont come to the us theyre stupid. Dont realize how much some of us like them. Vesperia and symphonia 2 are all we get. It sucks but i have to say Vesperia was the best tales game ever made and im just glad we got play that one. Yuri was the best character ever and i loved the themes in that game. There were so many side quests and i loved the 9 hidden monsters to hunt down and kill. It was the ff7 of the tales series in my eyes.
I would love a sequal on pulse or a prequal of the war between pulse and cocoon that would be dope. Add towns for sure but a prequal would be new characters and give a chance expand the mythology of the world. Overall it was a good story and universe with good characters it was just missing the filler(towns and npc's)to expand it and break up the action.
if you could play tf2 or cod online from cloud with 3g this would be dope. i want this with onlive type sevice and games, real next gen on a handheld. if psp2 or a xbox handheld did cloud based ps3/360 games the 3ds would be dead. i can hope right? thats the future, not designing handheld games but real console games on the go.
what will kill off move is you dont need it. You can play kilzone 3 exc. with a normal controller. The wii was sucessful because dev and gamers had to use it. You wana play zelda gotta use the wiimote. With kinect the games are built for it so you have to use it if you wana play the games. On ps3 its optional so why use it. Its cool and ok for sports but realy who would rather use move for killzone/unchared 3/cod, its not as fun. Sorcery looks ok but not 150 bux for it and move good. Only cas...
theyre trying to focus on kinect from nov through xmas and with all the kinect games coming next year they moved gow3 back so kinect will not have huge compitition from it. Makes sense to me. All those tgs games early next year on through xmas 2011. It will be a free for all for new games if kinect catches on which theyre hoping for.
who cares the ps3 is prob a little more powerful but i dont see much of a difference between alan wake and uncharted. Sure uncharted looks a little better but not enough to really matter. They are both amzing games that look damn good and blow 99 percent of other games away.
i hated it at fist because i tried to play it as a fps. i came back a year later and got so addicted to it though. it is and was one of the best games ever. the story is superior to the second aka no story just filler. while i think the second improved the game mechanics and was better and the mythos was amazing it cant compete with learning about sovergn and watching the citadel fall to reapers.
why the hell would you want "true 3d" and wear dark glasses with a handheld. that defeats the purpose of a handheld. all 3d is true 3d and 3d without glasses is the future. thats what consumers want.
i would love a sequal the ending was beautiful. the truth is sakaguchi is the one who made the traditional ff feel and square isnt the same without him. they still make good games and i enjoyed ff 13 but they needed one thing, towns. put that in the sequal and im good.

looks like a port of the iphone game. the 3ds looks great in cgi but gameplay isnt that big of an improvement. i still cant wait myself but some iphone psp games look almost as good. it seems to have some good shading exc and kid ikaris looked amazing but nothing much better than late psp games. the real draw is the amazing games and 3d.
first its no good everyone hates it so they change it and now they hate them for changing it. i say make the games you guys want and screw what people say. people will be unhappy either way.
they sell more on handhelds period. compared to the cost and dev time of the ps3 its a no brainer although id prefer a console il take what i can get. Bbs was amazing.
mass effect 2 opening was the collest s*** ive seen. Reach had a bada** ending. Alan wake had some moments such as the building knocked off the cliff. I would say one of the best was kane and lynch 2 from when you get captured and wake up naked bleeding to death and have to recue your boy getting tortured. That was soooo epic and realistic. The ending of lost odyssey was one of the most bada** rpg bosses ever.
