I don't know, SE. I mean, your most successful franchise ever over here in the west never had a "macho protagonist".
Maybe I'm wrong, but for an example, there was a guy named Cloud who was skinny and had big, spiky hair. Or this guy Squall who looked like he was straight out of a boy band.
Your fans love these guys. Why give us macho, macho men?
The problem with Capcom is that they're relying on western studios to develop most of their sequels. Dead Rising 2 is up next, isn't it? We'll see how much Inafune cares about the series he creates.
Dragon Quest IX has already been announced for the States. But, Nintendo will be the one to publish it here. Should be out around Summer.

Perfect Weapon is a classic. >_>
Wasn't there a teaser for Twisted Metal on PS3 within Twisted Metal Head On: Extra Twisted Edition for PS2? I could have swore that you discover the message within some cut scenes or something.

Best Final Fantasy of the PSone era, hands down.
IMO...What...in...the world are...you..LOL..going on...about...LMAO...?
Final Fantasy IX was made to have an old school Final Fantasy look and feel. The character designs were made with that in mind. Deformed heads, a black mage, etc.
It's that type of attitude why Final Fantasy IX was sadly overlooked by many so called Final Fantasy fans. It really was the better game between itself, VII and VIII.
You really missed out there.
Lunar the Silver Star was originally a Sega CD game. It was then remade for the Playstation, which is where a lot of the fans remember it from.
It was never a PS2 game, though that's probably just because you didn't look into it much.
I'll be doing my part in getting Harmony tomorrow. I've wanted Lunar 3 for years.
Can't wait to add this one alongside it's Sega CD and PSone brothers.
Guess I'll do my part to ask all of you fine people to download the Lunar demo! I mean, it's obviously the highlight of this update and my personal favorite series so...it won't hurt!
Other than that, maybe they're planning a nice big update next week. Still, disappointing overall.
Well, that may have happened, but it's not like it wasn't expected. Every major Street Fighter release since II has gotten some sort of revision or two.
Wasn't much of an "OMG" surprise announcement. I could have guessed that the very same day that the regular SFIV came out.
Remember FFX's last boss? Yu Yevon?
Now that thing was stupid, and it didn't ruin the rest of the game at all.
Besides, a circle thing? FFIX had a circle thing for an optional boss. Remember Ozma?
If 5 is "garbage and horrible" then why is 1 through 4 even necessary? Might as well have a scale from 1 to 5 then.
That's the way that me and quite possibly logic itself looks at it.
I'll stick with the definite possibility of a second Dissidia game for the PSP, thank you.
He forgot to mention how Valve is going to debut Half Life 2: Episode 3 exclusively on the PS3 next fall.
No Lunar? Meh.
Then again these are always very opinionated, so I can care less. My top 200 could be radically different.
It may be lame that we're not getting the "real" main theme, but that's just that. The rest of the soundtrack will be amazing. You guys really should cut Hamauzu some slack, the man is a genius. SaGa Frontier 2 still has one of the best OSTs ever in a game.
Not sure why everyone are expecting a Resident Evil 6. Have we forgotten about Resident Evil PSP?
