The game has been announced as a reboot for a while now. It will have monsters and classic series characters returning, though.
Peace Walker is just fine on the PSP. I'd hate to see the PSP lose out on potential sales just because Peace Walker jumps ship to the PS3. The PSP deserves its own exclusive titles, too.
I honestly don't understand it. I'm guessing most of us have been gaming for quite a while. Many classic games have been given a score of eight. An 8 is a good score.
I question the need for a 10 point grading scale if "gamers" nowadays treat an 8 like it's a 2 or a 3. Might as well just have a three point/level system then.
3 - Must buy
2 - Disappointment, a Rental
1 - Waste of time
It's a sad day when people are disappointed with a score of an 8. One 8 does not mean that the game is terrible. And if you're a Metroid fan it should not matter anyway.
Suikoden and Breath of Fire, on the other hand...
Respect for throwing Lunar in there. Even the original Sega CD intro is great.
The companies need to support them better on consoles. For example, Namco's handling of the Tales series is pathetic.
Unless I get to play it too.
This has been on Youtube for a while now.
In battle the characters are KO'd, they do not die.
Also, the main character dies in Chrono Trigger, and there is a way to bring him back if you continue the game beyond that point. Aeris dying, while a dramatic event in RPG history, was nothing new.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but no one is paying for "online". Online play is still free. Whoever subscribes just gets benefits toward the PlayStation Store. That's how I see it, anyway.
Legend of Mana was a classic. Sure, it wasn't proclaimed a classic by the media, but it sure as hell was a lot of fun. It had great drawn graphics, a beautiful soundtrack by Shimomura (Kingdom Hearts, Parasite Eve), and it was just fun. Multiple scenario paths, multiplayer, unlockables from other Square game save files...
It was a great time.
It was pretty much announced in the PS2 port of Twisted Metal: Head On. It seems that everyone just forgot about it or blocked it out of their heads for some reason.
Microsoft/Activision
Sony/EA
That statement made no sense. You do realize that Zelda has been a franchise since the late eighties, right? Most fans since then would be well over the pre-teen phase. Even the fans who got into the series with Ocarina of Time.
Oh, I see. There are no guns, no blood, no gore. Quite the "Gamer" you are.
The best and most underrated Final Fantasy on the PSone arrives.
Resident Evil without a 2nd analog stick?
You mean like the first four games in the series, which are arguably more "Resident Evil" than four and five together?
This just reeks of nonsense to me. I mean, it could happen, but it will be hard to mix the two series together.
We'll see! Shocking if true, but false rumors and E3 go hand in hand.
Props for using a pic from Alundra.
Some of the complaints I'm hearing are nonsense.
Some are complaining that you don't even start in the castle right away. Well, I'm guessing those that are complaining about that have not played Castlevania: Bloodlines. Hell, plenty of the games in the series don't start you immediately inside the castle. It may take a stage or two to get there, but you're still traveling TO the castle.
Rondo of Blood started on a horse ride toward a vill...
