Yay, Valkyria Chronicles demo. Good thing I didn't spend the money for that one Qore episode.
A sequel is inevitable. Why? Blame Genesis appearing at the end of Dirge of Cerberus, and the love of FF7 around the world.
Okay, maybe not AROUND the world...but a good 70% of it.
Remake? It will happen, but not anytime soon. The least? Four years. Maybe five.
As I read through the comments, no one ever mentions Code Veronica. It was the last great traditional RE in my opinion (Not counting the GameCube remake of the original or Zero, since Zero had that funky tag team hooplah).
Show some Breath of Fire love, Capcom.
Resident Evil 2 is a masterpiece. I'll always have a place in my heart for the original, but 2 came and improved on it in almost every way. A compelling playthrough for each character, and then when you're done with that character, you can start a new game with the other with a different scenario!
There wouldn't be Nemesis without Mr. X, man. Mr.X was bad ass.
The only truly bad RE games are the Gun Survivor games, and those don't even count. So yeah...though I resp...
Makes me wonder how the Final Fantasy remakes on the DS would've looked on the PSP. Wasted opportunity.
At least PSP only users have access to original FF games like Crisis Core, Dissidia, and Agito XIII.
Edit: Disagree? Why? Not totally knocking the DS because I have one, but you have to admit those 3D FF remakes would've looked a whole lot better on PSP. I love both of my portables, but while the 3D games look okay, they can look much better on PSP.

It's Square Enix. Remake Extraordinaire. It will happen sooner or later. Be it a year from now or five years.
Is this it? Probably not. May be just for the Advent Children Blu Ray.
I think it will eventually come because Crisis Core threw twists into the main storyline that will have to be presented in a remake of some sort. For example, Genesis's existence, characters that appeared in Crisis Core that weren't mentioned in the original, and so on. Then, the whole Final Fantasy VII thing will finally end with a sequel, like "Final Fantasy VII After Crisis" or something.

Someone mind helping me? I only see the 360 mentioned when it came to the exclusive DLC...unless I'm blind as hells or something.
I know I've seen you somewhere before! Not too long ago!

RIP Segata Sanshiro
Star Ocean First Departure FTW.
There's no doubt that some series only belong in the 2D realms until proven otherwise. Castlevania is one such series that no one can argue with. While the PS2 games were okay, they failed to reach the quality standards of the 2D games. Alas, The Dracula X Chronicles was a good idea for the progression of the series.
Same could be said for JRPGs. For example, Star Ocean. The series hit a high note with Second Story on PSone, but Till the End of Time on PS2 was not as widely accep...
By a PSP game, no less.

Oh well. Still a cool idea though.
Knew it would do well. First day purchase, if I have the funds.
You're name was cooler when ya had the CEO guy for an avatar. Put it back! Puts more character behind your posts!
I've said this before, and it's the truth.
It looks like Star Ocean 4 is using the same engine from 3, just with updated graphics.
You can tell by the animations easily. Even the main character's body and looks are extremely similar to Fayt from Star Ocean 3.
I'd still enjoy it cause I'm a Star Ocean fan, but if you want to have a real Star Ocean experience, get a PSP and the upcoming remakes of the first two games.
It's just an updated SO3. All the people who played SO3 can see it.
It could even run on the Wii.
Looks a whole lot like SO3. Which isn't exactly a bad thing...but to many it wasn't exactly the high point of the series. I personally enjoyed it though.
Hopefully they won't destroy the storyline like they did towards the end of SO3.
Edit: Holy crap. After watching again....It almost looks like an HD version of SO3. Even the main character's design is similar...plus, the animations are basically the same.
Lets hope they stick it back in the oven a litt...
I agree very much.
