That game could definitely be done on either of the other consoles.
The way I look at it is this:
Graphics are nice, not a necessity, but definitely a plus.
Game play is a necessity, not a luxury.
However, the way the Wii is making games, yes game play CAN be good (even though the shovelware proves that it definitely can choose not to as well) but the graphics, at most, can be so-so.
The way games are made for the PS3 and 360, game play can also be good, and can be coupled with amazing graphics and online.

But just FWI, I agree with you. I think a 7 is a fair overall score. Its not a horrible game, but I have never seen it as the be-all end-all that many people and reviewers have.

Sorry dude but the only thing Halo 3 proved to me is that ridiculous over hype CAN get a game good reviews and boatloads of money. To me, that game is mediocre at best. Honestly what did Halo 3 add? Forge and replays. And a lot of money to Microsoft's pockets. Not a horrible game by any means. Just not a great one.

Do you really expect the 360 to reach $99 in two years? It took the PS2 8 years to do so. If its arcade I can see it in maybe 4 years, but thats only after the next Xbox (720 1080) is out. The 360 will not drop to $99 until the next console is out, but another question is will the 360 still be supported as the PS2 has been?
If it follows the same from last gen, no. If Microsoft realizes cutting off the Xbox was a mistake, then maybe.
Well there's a favor to your flavor. As long as you can say those are YOUR best games as opposed to THE best games I don't care.
Aw man if you pass on CoD4 you're missing an AMAZING game, both online and off.
But it is your preference. If you like FPS I have to say CoD4 is at the head of the class.
Sorry but too many FPS. I like FPS but I also like to have variety. I think they did a good job of pulling games from different genres.
What is the point of owning a console? To play games right? The 360's disc drive is so loud that when my roommate plays MLB 2K8 or CoD4 he has to turn up the TV to drown out the sound of the 360.
Not trying to hate, just stating facts. The 360 is the loudest system I've ever heard.
