It's quiet in here. Nice.
You tell 'em Tose! It's paphetic up in here!
Just going back through these threads is greatness. Playstation only does "STFU impatient little kids!"
I shall join you, MasterOne! Let's rid the world of Sony and their limited to older PS3, yet still undeniably evil clocks! We will destroy Sony!!!
In other news. . . HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Sorry. Couldn't help myself there.
I just laughed for a good 5 minutes after seeing all the "PS3 is back" topics, then looking in the long ago past when the PS3 died. Remember back in the almost 1 day of 2010 when all the PS3 fats blew up and needed to be replaced? Kids today are spoiled. Dammit! Laughing again. Can I get FFXIII for PS3 again now? Please?
Final Fantasy VII isn't a good game to use here. It is the same gameplay as Final Fantasy (notice no numerals) with better graphics. But what makes VII a "better" game IS the better graphics. The cutscenes added a new dimension to the gameplay and immersion. RPGs such as the Final Fantasy series aren't good measures of what I am talking about. I gave examples that fit in the same mold as Halo. Imagine what FPS games would be if Doom were still the standard. No jumping. No cover syst...
What is a timely manner to fix something like this?
Why does the actual article say 30 minutes while N4G says 15?
Are we to get excited about a rumor that Sony didn't come out and confirm. The same way that we should dismiss "stories" about PS3 Slim owners emailing some random nuttjob about failures, we should dismiss this. If it happens, great. But Sony didn't mention it at all. Non-story here.
And that one will be just as funny as this one. If he finds a way to paint the Gem/Arc in a good light then he should become a lawyer.
My PS3 Slim just blew up. True story.
Can I be news now?
Holy crap! It HAS been almost 12 hours since the last update. I hope no one commits suicide. I'd almost prefer if they just came out and said:
"This is just one of those things that happens when it happens"
Microsoft entertainment and devices division president Robbie Bach
I hope those various, unidentified developers are very angry at Sony not saying anything at all since this problem came up. They should go to Twitter and tell all the PS3 fans how angry they are that Sony has not said one word about this problem. They should do that on Twitter. All night. And all morning. Twitter.
You're cute, Gimped Hardware. I will humor your request.
No. PSN is not bricking anything. PSN is fine and the PS3s that can connect to PSN are fine.
The older models are not bricking. The internal clock has a problem. Sony says they will have an easy solution within 24 hours.
There are no problems with the PS3 "Slim".
Xbox 360 is still the least reliable console. That is unlikely to change. I am only saying that part becau...

Can you talk about Halo: Reach in the Halo: Reach topic? It's nice that you like Modern Warfare in Space and all. But it's YAY HALO time right now.
This is for Dance down below:
I asked this question in another Halo: Reach area and I am still looking for the answer. What is it that makes Halo: Reach a sandbox game? The term "sandbox game" came from titles like Grand Theft Auto. What about Halo: Reach is sandbox in comparison t...
You're wrong. They won the game. PS3 is defeated! Well, after I finish this third play through of Heavy Rain. On my PS3. That works.
If it's any consolation to anyone that hates me so very much that they want my $600 toy to break. . . I know 2 people that bought Xbox360s. There goes $600!
I will be scouring this site to see what the new spin is.
"Sony fixes bug by implanting secret surveillance in your PS3."
How is this more severe? Not being able to play games for a day or two should not be put in the same sentence as severe. Burning $300 is severe. Losing months-years of cheated achievement points is severe (lolthem).
Get your Uncharted out of their Splinter Cell. I hope the single player is extra long. Taking out such a large part of the old game is not a great idea to people that actually played and enjoyed the full experience. If the game has actual length, and not lame replays to get achievements, then it should be worth the money.
I think this is a funny statement.
"The Natal launch will easily add a year of life / breathing room on the 360."
