I agree that the game is pretty, but that's just pure hyperbole.

Kojima had final say on nearly every aspect of the MGS games, from the story to the gameplay. To try and downplay his importance is ridiculous.
We've already seen what happens when a Metal Gear game is developed without Kojima, somehow we ended up with a hack and slash game.
If you know previous Halo stories, it just makes 5 that much more disappointing...

Do you honestly believe that? The Wii sold so well because it launched at the perfect time. Between the motion controls and the "fitness" appeal, it was meant for casuals from the beginning. Smash sold so well because the Wii did, not the other way around.

6 is above average for Angry Joe. The fact that major outlets only give out 7-9's is part of the problem
I would think fans would be the MOST disappointed, especially after being invested in the whole Hunt the Truth thing... I cant fully express my opinion without Spoilers, but the direction the game went was so disappointing to me, and im not even a huge Halo fan

If it wasnt for the marketing campaign, I probably wouldn't have been so disappointed in the campaign. Its just that I was expecting SO much more from the story, and it didnt even try to deliver. If anybody read the IGN article about the Halo 5 ads lying, it echoes my thoughts perfectly. How can someone NOT be disappointed with the story after the compelling Mc vs Locke commercials??

2 was incredible, but i played about 3 hours of DS3 and brought it back to gamestop.

Yes, seeing as Halo is one of the most popular multiplayer series there is.
There is zero chance Ms would let them stop making Halo. Its a guaranteed money maker. Honestly the only thing 343 needs is a new story writer and they'd be good, they've got gameplay down already.
To be fair, MS used to have a bunch of awesome RpGs back in the day (KOTOR, Fable 1-2).
Now, not so much.
