If you happened to see the leak mp video they pretty much just summarize that.
They talk about how you can invade other players Mother Bases and steal their resources, guards, etc.
When building your own mother base you need to build it strategically with cameras, drones, placement of resources.
They then wonder if the mother base invasion aspect will interfere with the single player story portion of the game
Edit: Nevermind just rea...
IMO it should've been something like the Mega Nintendo. MNES idk lol. They just need to get away from the "Wii" image entirely
How is it a good thing exactly? It doesn't make the game better for Xbox gamers, it just excludes PC and Playstation gamers from being able to play it.
How can you feel good about yourself as a person after saying that? I'm so disgusted right now it's not even funny. Depression is a terrible condition, and when it gets to the point of someone taking their own life, it's hardly something to make fun of. I just can't even come up with a good response to such a terrible comment
So to play one $60 game, a person should throw down up to $500 to get another console this early in the generation? Before EITHER console has boatloads of games to justify it? I'm not hating on Xbox here, but that's just not good money management. If someone wanted to play tomb raider, AND halo, AND gears, AND quantum break, then your argument would make more sense. But for a single game? Ehh...
Yeah it's good to see that the so called "gimmicky" features of the Dualshock 4 can actually benefit games with a more immersive experience.
Just realized in my previous post I tagged the wrong person:|. Oops:|
OT: I highly doubt anyone at Kotaku will have a response to this, but we really deserve one considering the sjw aspects of many of their articles
@xblskull. You mean like Kotaku?;)
Casuals are hyped up for COD and FIFA. Luckily, the consoles are more focused on pleasing GAMERS than casuals. Indie games are great compliments to the more AAA style games, and games like No mans sky show what potential indie games truly have
Haha ha ha Hahahaha haha, no. Tomb raider reboot was definitely a good game, but uncharted is just, well, better.
Or maybe he's man bear pig
"Rapid fire departures"
Gotta love gaming "journalism"
@dcbronco, Sony never payed for tomb raider exclusivity during the ps1 era. Look it up, rather than spreading misinformation
OT: I hope Silent Hills is multiplatform just so all gamers can enjoy it without a particular "side" bashing it for no reason
Phil Fish shouldn't be allowed to use the internet
@darth. By the time TR 2 released, the Saturn was practically dead compared to the playstation. That combined with the fact that it was hard to program for; it's no wonder TR 2 didn't release on Saturn
A Pokemon open world RPG on Wii U would make me get up right now and go buy one
I'm obviously a metal gear fanboy but I don't consider ground zeroes the worst because the gameplay was so fantastic, playing on hard the ai was brutal. However, the price completely killed it. It should have been a $15 download max.
From Wikipedia: "Tomb raider 2 was no longer designed for the sega Saturn... Following the cancellation announcement, Adrian smith cited 'technical limitations' of the console to program an adequate version"
Sony did NOT pay to keep it exclusive, especially considering it was also released on Windows. It wasn't on N64 due to it using cartridges.
Fox engine is definitely a looker. If ground zeroes is anything to go by then MGSV:TPP and Silent Hills will be amazing looking games
@higgins, yeah the Wii sold millions and "shook the face of gaming" but guess what? The Wii U isn't. At all. The casual market that the Wii attracted is gone, and Nintendo needs to move on with the times. If the "Wii" image was so cool and awesome, why isn't the Wii u flying off the shelves?
