When I decided my purchase of system back in 2006 when I saved up enough money for either 360 or PS3, I based my purchase on the long run product. I liked both sets of exclusives the systems had to offer, but the deciding factor was that 360s at that time had a 50% failure rate while PS3s had like in the 2% range. Did it cost more money? Yes, but besides that, my 60gig has lasted already half its life span and all that had to be fixed was the Blu-ray player which I replaced myself.

True, I can agree they could have pick someone with a stronger and darker prescence, but for doing what the director asked of him, Timothy did the best job he could to portray the role.
What a sad gaming world you live in if you actually think exclusives will die out. Without competition, we wouldn't have games like halo, uncharted, gears, gran turismo, forza, metal gear, etc. If these console selling games didn't exist then what reason would you have to buy a console?
My point is that without the companies competing against each other, the quality of games would decline to the point that it wouldn't exist. We need fans to battle it out with th...
I thought that the Hitman movie was quite decent. The games are very open-ended and are scattered memories or assassination through 47's career. To me, it seemed like they tried to make it like the games when in truth, the games have no plot to work with.
Overall, it kept me interested and Timothy did a swell job for the part he played.
I second this statement. Ninjas are Assassins and Samurai are Templars. It would be best set towards the end of the Tokugawa era to the beginning of the Meiji era. Lots of turmoil and battles going on as well as getting to keep the gun attachment.
I'm pretty sure Solid Snake's story is finished with 4, but I would love to see PS3 completely remade versions of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2:Solid Snake. Though Snake Eater is definitely on top for me, These two are probably my favorite story wise right under snake eater.
Fighting Grey Fox in the middle of a mine field in Zanzibar is just Epic!!!!
This and Legend of the Dragoon are two must plays of your lifetime. I still consider these two RPG better that FF7-9, Breath of Fire 3-4, Vagrant Story, and Parasite Eve 1-2. I own all of these, but by far I've replayed those two more than any other PS1 RPG classic.
I say they either go with French Revolution, Revolutionary war, or my personal favorite, Edo Period Japan. Samurai are Templars and ninjas are assassins. Would be awesome to use weapons like kunai, shurikens, and use martial arts for melee combat in the game. Winning formula in my book lol. :)
All that matters to me right now is that Peace Walker can be ported to this system. Peace Walker with two analog sticks= instawin.
I haven't had the chance to pick up and play my copy, but I always hate when a game's sequel gets outdone by it predeccesor. I'll see when I get to sit down and play it. I'm very disappointed that dual-weilding is a rogue only skill now. In origins, I used two-handed and dual-weilding on my warrior. excellent combo for a warrior class.
COD is best represented as a double-edged sword. On one side, its destroying the industry by releasing a 4 to 5 year old product with a few new do-hickies added to it. Overall, it makes some other devs join the bandwagon and we start to get overall dumbed down clones of a 4 year old product.
The other edge is that its great it takes away all the people that can't handle a tactical shooter, and thus, the people left playing the other games are actually a challenge instea...
I already took the survey, and they asked really awesome questions. The ones that stood out to me was what system should the next Metal Gear be on (answered PS3 and NGP). Also, if Peace Walker should come to PS3 and other improvement features.
Take the survey now and get the word to Kojima what we MGS fans want!!
^^Custom Games with spawn grenades.^^ fixed ;). We need in-game music as well.
I still think to this day that Bioware's greatest game was Jade Empire. I loved playing Baldur's Gate, Mass Effect, and Dragon Age, but nothing screams Bruce Lee badassness like Jade Empire. Its the only RPG game I know of that was created about Chinese mythology. I want Jade Empire 2 so bad.
I agree that a lot of the changes to Dragon Age were in favor of an action game than an RPG, but I think I read somewhere that you can change in options to just pressing X once...
I think Brink is so far looking like this years sort of Borderlands title. Its just so different and familiar at the same time, it will catch an audience thats looking for that change of pace from all the COD clones out there.
What I'll probably enjoy most from the game is the movement system and the tons of customization to be had. So far, day one buy for me. :)
I wouldn't say more accurate than M/K, but when played with the sharpshooter, its definetily a whole lot of fun. The move is still alot more accurate than a ds3, but it requires practice to master the controls and a lot of fine tuning to get your settings right.
Well, Its worth it in my opinion, but this is the first new tv I've bought in like 6-7 years (whenever Circuit ctiy went out of business is when I got my old tv, but it was used).
I guess I got lucky in my timing because I had been saving for a tv for a while, a year and half. I bought the Samsung 46" 3D LED TV. It was orginally $2200, but I signed up for Best Buy's credit card program and got it with the deal going on for $1600. I got three year interest free ...
Yeah, if you happen to own a 3D TV to play KZ3 on, do it. I played it last night with the sharpshooter in 3D, and I was amazed how much you can actually get into the game. The 3D aspect added a certain depth to where if you look to the distance in-game, it actually looks far away. Blood spatter would shoot up at you, and the snow flurries would float gently towards you.
I had a guy throw a grenade straight at my face, and it seemed as if it came out the screen and hit me fo...
All I know is GG needs to put two maps from KZ2 into KZ3. The train map and Beachhead. Those two boards were both DLC, but they were the best maps to play on for me. Also, maybe the map where the nuclear explosion went off every 10min and you had to hide inside to not get killed. That one too GG. :)
Kratos could take out Drake easy, but Snake, I don't know. Kratos's intelligence isn't his strong suit where as Snake survives on stealth combat.
If Snake got the jump on Kratos, Snake takes the cake by a long shot, but if this is like an arena style fight and Snake left his smoke grenades/porno at the house, then Kratos wins hands down.
Sorry, Drake, but he doesn't have any special skills in combat except for luck. If Drake somehow wins, ...
