i vehemently disagree. castlevania, along with enslaved and vanquish, is one of the best games this year. i'm honestly surprised how much i'm enjoying castlevania.
i agree, it gets very boring. i put a few hours into the multiplayer on reach and that was good enough, i was satisfied. i don't need to play another multiplayer game for several months.
to me playing multiplayer is like playing an atari game, it's fun trying to rack up points for a few minutes here and there but anything longer than that and you realize how pointless it is. it's pointless, mind numbing repetition that gives a game the illusion of longevity. i'...
it looks pretty fun.
nice rack
it's kinda sad that metallica have become such a safe metal band. at least their peers like slayer and megadeth are still angry and "hungry".
7.5 is higher than 99.5% of the move titles got, tell me about "shovelware" again....
yea, they'll look great alongside all the move titles and empty gaps where ps3 exclusives should be.
i really wanted to like this game but it just wasn't much fun.
2 words: steel battalion.
i can't say enough good things about this game. it's exactly the type of action game i've been dying to play. it's gonna be hard getting back into the gears/uncharted style of gameplay after the lightning quick action of this title.
western games wish they could be this polished and fun.
why are people so concerned about the length? i'd rather take a short perfectly polished game like this than a long, bug riddled mess like fallout any day. i'd gladly pay $60 if this game was 2 hours long, it's that damn good.
if a game is short, play it again. did people throw out super mario brothers after they beat it in 15 minutes? old school gamers were paying $50, $60, even $80 (genesis strider) for games that can literally be beaten in half an hour and nobo...
bragging rights. the same people who sat repeating "sales don't matter" like a mantra for 4 years are showing their true hypocritical colors.
just about everybody is giving this a 3 or 4 so they're not outside the norm. it's kinda hard to fudge a review on these games, either the controls work or they don't.
imo it's damn near a perfect game. cover shooters are gonna seem like they're stuck in molasses once you've played this. it has an intensity i don't think i've ever experienced in a shooter before. some level designs and boss encounters will have your jaw on the floor.
let this be a lesson to other devs, stop copycatting the shit out of every genre. like a poster said a few days ago, this will be in the bargain bin with rock revolution.
those sales should have gone to vanquish, probably the best action game i've played this gen. it's disturbing how many people will pass up a game that's polished to perfection in favor of a glitch filled mess...then turn around and bitch about how glitchy games are.
i've been hearing this for 4 years now, wake me when it actually happens.
so he should go to jail because he hurt peoples feelings? wow, just wow.
it's really not a far leap to start imprisoning people for saying mean things about the government. the u.k. is pretty much 1984 and v for vendetta rolled into one, they truly have a totalitarian government.
i'm 10 of those!
jk, i've only had rrod once. it was my fault though, i smoked in front of it and treated it poorly.
