if people have the money to spend on ebay, why didn't they just buy the collectors editions? you'd spend another $60 to buy something that would have cost you an extra $20 had you just gotten a better edition? amazing.
i'd actually like a "hard" sci-fi game i.e. real military tactics on an alien environment. i just don't trust cod to deliver something serious, they'd give us starship troopers the movie when what i want is the book version.

i gladly paid the full $60 for this and would do so again. part of my reasoning for buying it was because it DIDN"T have a multiplayer mode and as a result it's probably the most polished action game I've ever played. The voice acting is hysterical, at some points it literally sounds like your C.O. is choking on his tongue.

i'd officially call this the sleeper/cult hit of 2010, it's racking up almost nothing but 9s and 10s and nobody is buying it... but everybody complains "there's no good games out".

another good edition and i agree. i remember when i used to feel like "holy s**t, a new (insert game here)". now i can set my watch by the release dates. i'd give my arm for a new freedom fighters but if i got one year after year after year the the "specialness" of it would wear off real quick.
