no shit
Well the PS3 has already had 3 barren years, there's nowhere left to go but up.
GT5? Uncharted 3? Resistance 3? Infamous 2? Twisted Metal?
I'd say they're tacking single player onto multiplayer games.
*cough cough* Delaystation.
I'll be getting Splatterhouse, Vanquish and Gothic 4 instead now. In terms of "big" games it sucks but there's still plenty to play.
No Ricky Gervais or Simon Pegg?
I'm a mature gamer who wouldn't dream of dropping $250-$300 on a handheld even if it promised me a bj. I'd rather buy a console or a really nice phone for that money.
I'd suggest an article about REAL gamer girls, namely the 300lb plumpers playing WoW alone on a Friday night. Not scene girls who have picked up their boyfriend's controller once in awhile.
Most peoples phones have an internet browser that works better than the one in the ps3. It's not a big selling point.
The irony is that if this were a preview of Gears 3 or something the same people making every excuse under the sun for GT5 would be screaming "Ha, look at that glitchy piece of shit".
There's ALWAYS excuses for Sony, ALWAYS.
The worst thing about being on top is the fall to the bottom, and maybe the transition from PS2 dominance to PS3 heel-dragging has had a damaging effect on the fanboy psyche, leaving them vulnerable and insecure. Maybe fanboys are suffering from a severe case of paranoid delusion, brought about by denial that the PS3 is in third place when once Sony was leading the charge.
Whatever the reason, it's true. Sony fanboys are by far the worst of the gaming worst. Your PC obses...
I don't read nor give a rat's ass about reviews so maybe that's why I'm actually happy with my game purchases and enjoy games that everyone else dislikes. All I need is subject matter that interests me and I'm guaranteed to enjoy the game.
When all you hear about is flaws, you go in looking for flaws and it biases you against the game from the get-go.
I never understood the obsession with Japanese sales. That's nice that something sells well in Japan but I live in America and buy games in America, only the American game market is important to me. In America Wii and 360 are still far more popular than the PS3. How something does in a foreign country doesn't affect me.
EDF is one of the very few games out there that's actually worth $60. It offers much more fun and replay value than some 6 hour long hack 'n slash or fps.
Nice of the chick to show us where she likes it. ;)
As if people aren't upgrading their ps3s.....
I have literally never seen something lose so much yet still be defended to the death. At this point the PS3 doesn't do much besides have a web browser.
Tell Insomniac and R&C that....
I've said it before, we're really not that far from retailers offering entirely different levels in games. Amazon will have the fire world but if you want ice, you've gotta buy from Best Buy.
