Its not hard to make a superman game, just make a character action game with good flying/ground combat. Dont make it open world, What would be the point of that for a character that can travel to the moon in minutes. Instead make large scale individual levels where you fight bosses like darksied and other characters that can give superman a good fight.
People dont want to play as superman so they can walk around a boring metropolis.

PS4 isnt beating XboxOne because exclusives. PS4 is the best console to play Assassin's creed, COD, FIFA, Battlefield, Watch Dogs ect ect. Thats really all there is to it
The fact that the difference between COD BO3 copies sold on PS4 vs Xbox One is greater than the entirety of Uncharted 4 sales is proof enough. Ps4's exclusives with a 50mil + install base can't even reach the numbers of WiiU's top 5 best selling exclusive and WIIU was a flop.
