Regardless of where it started out or where it goes one fact always remains, MH sells like dogshit on consoles and succeeds on handhelds.

Its like half and half, TLOU has pretty alright enough gameplay imo, in between cut-scenes and game-play however are significant segments of walking and talking/moving ladders and talking.

That would leave roughly 700kdigital/mail order on switch when you take out1mil Wiiu versions sold from the 4.7mil total as of june 30th official numbers from Nintendo. Game should be well above 5mil now coming up on that 6.

Switch version would take from both sales and also have some of its own, I imagine there are a good amount who bought both the PS4 version and 3DS version.
The biggest issue with MHW is Capcom trying to apeal to the west. They should be happy with their success and with slowly expanding the franchise instead of taking a huge risk that doesn't make sense when they are in such financial distress.
The core of MH just isn't somthing that apeals to the mainstream west, Either MHW is an actual MH game and the west doesn't care about it/they lose japanese sales because its not portable. Or it actually is a dumbed down MH ...
