Way I see it, third party publishers are screwed either way. either support Nintendo now, or abandon them eventually forcing them to go third party, then they will kill your game sales with their major franchises competing for sales on other platforms. Lol good luck competing with Smash Bros, Mario kart, Mario games, and Pokemon ubisoft LOL!
I know it's unfortunate . Piss easy combat, bland story, stale characters, the only thing the AC games have is the open world parkour and ship combat in 4. It amazes me how it manages to sell millions every year. I guess that's the casual market for ya, AC and COD... They eat it up every year.

PS hate? the only PS games i shit on were killzone, 1886, and david cage games, i dislike games on all platforms. and before you go there, calling a game mainstream isn't hating it, mainly because i don't have a hipster mentality and don't dislike games only because they are mainstream.
What i do dislike is the conclusion the author is trying to make that the PS Brand is "hardcore" while everything else is either casual or kiddie.
I'm going to use half those layers for cosmetic purpose and the other half for gameplay. Deng cant wait for this. i hope we can put a limit to how many layers a player can jump through in one go.

Nah the story would be about new survivors, they find out there is a girl immune to the spores. Your group sets off on a mission with hopes to find the girl and make a cure. The game will lead you to believe the game takes place many years after TLOU 1 but you later find out it takes place only a few months after TLOU and Joel is the final boss protecting young Ellie.

Nah man indies are still nowhere near retail titles because they don't try to be. A lot of Indies rely too much on the whole "explore our artsy world" thing. What's the actual gameplay like in these games other than walk around, climb some cliffs, appreciate the art style, and some shallow puzzles here and there.
Of course there are exceptions, but can you really say with confidence that hell blade will even come close to bayonetta 2? Or that all those indie...
