This was what I was hoping for. I was really stunned hearing some average reviews on the game, because I thought the beta was excellent.

Yea but as a Sony fan, don't you already have things to sing praises about? I mean yes Xbox 360 has a really nice online system, and achievements were the best thing since sliced bread for gamers. But as a Sony fan I have to admit, whether you like Motor Storm or not, in 1080p the game is stunning to look at. The fact I downloaded Tekken 5:DR as a downloadable game? Awesome. Each machine has serious perks, it's just for me there are 5 franchises I play till my fingers bleed.

I own a PS3 and I have games I play constantly.
Resistance (I like the game, and I have gotten my moneys worth out of it.)

Let me see if I read this correctly.... a game you care nothing about, and have no interest in buying. Instead of letting people who would love to play it and enjoy it, you would rather them not get it at all? Odd.

It's sad that PS3 owners won't get this game, just as it's sad that 360 owners won't get MGS4. I'm a Sony owner and hell I'm a little upset to not get Bioshock, I really think it would be a good play through.
You think so? The masses are the tons of people that don't care about Halo the game.... I'm not pissing on Halo, but Microsoft likes to tout those money in one day figures. How much would it have made if it cost 10 bucks to the consumer a pop. Would be really difficult to shove into a film don't you think? Plus, the fact that they would have to tone it down for the "masses". It would be like trying to do a Metal Gear movie. I'm not sold on this yet.
If they gave Shrek a 4/5 then Lair may be the next ET.

Come on man, I have no beef with the 360, I chose the PS3 because I am a Metal Gear nut job, I have no issues with Microsoft, the 360, whatever. But to have something that is going to tear up is crazy, and to just accept it is just as crazy.. And to say we have to wait 2 years? Come on.

Yea but you have to admit Lair was being pushed as one of those Ninja Gaiden, God Of War, Resident Evil 4 type experiences.
And it just seems like it came out very average.

You know that really is unfair to the guy/gal that bought the 360 last month or so, to find out now that if they had waited they could have gotten an HDMI port on the 360. And I don't see that helping 360 sales at all, not many people except for the gamers that scrounge the net for news really know about the HDMI port 360's, or the better heat sinked 360's, right?
Plus how is that fair to DIE HARD 360 fans that ran out to but an elite for the HDMI port, only to find out now th...

Made the FPS what it is? Half-Life made the single player FPS genre, just as Counter-Strike nailed the multi.
I think Lair just doesn't have the goods. I'm just happy Heavenly Sword is coming out right after it, I have a bad feeling this game is going to disappoint me.
I'm totally on my man icechai's side. Bubble for you. What is expectations so high that 8.8 is now disappointing? To me this is great news, it may swing more players to buy Warhawk so that I may kill them.
This game is a blast to play.
