The PS3 is better build and it should be... it's $300 more expensive.. it should have better hardware. It's also about time Sony get's it right this time too... after the crappy hardware they made with the PS1 and PS2 it's obvious that they have more experience now. Blu-ray will win the format war as far as movie is concern. for now.. until digital distribution kicks in. Next Gen... disk are going to be so last gen.. similar to how fanboys consider game in 2 disk so last gens. Did you know that Pentium and AMD use virually the same architecture eventhough they both are pretty much rivals? so, why should I be surprise that IBM (cell) and IBM(Power) use similar artchitecture... when they are both made by the same company? Duhh!
Also, since the cell was design and is partially owned by Sony... are you saying that sony also owns Power from IBM?

I am all for telling people where there is a good deal. But how is this news? Couldnt this be posted on any PS3 article as a comment.. I am sure it would have the same effect... let's hope tomorrow another retailer does not sell PS3 for 548.99 or we are going to have more of these so call breaking news.
They are making money! Do they need marketting? Why not make more money by firing the people they don't need. Nintendo is known to use you and then stave you. They did that to Sony which make them bring the Playstation and to developers so they can sell more 1st games.
So, now this site will become a form of advertising for retail stores to push consoles? How is this news! Is this the new level of famboysm? Soon will will see ads for other consoles.
It would be great if they create a feature on this site that allows the block of any comments from famboys going into other articles and flaming it. I mean look at this comments.
