Sony should continue to push blu-ray... be more aggresive with the format war... though blu-ray is winning... it needs to be declared the winner relatively sooner than later. Blu-ray taking so long to be adopted by the mass market can have a negative impact on the PS3 due to price. Sony should also push HD TV adoption since the PS3 without an HD TV is pretty much not worth the price tag...
I can't wait for this game.. I loved the FFT for the PS1.... now all I have to do is figure out where is my PSP... I may have to put my home upside down to find it... and where is the charger?! OHHH boy....
Bathyj, actually... can you proved that it slowed down dramatically? any data to support it? the way I see it... NPD numbers and others show the xbox 360 pretty much selling around the same month... by month... if anything the PS3 sells were going down hill until Sony drop the price to $500... Obviously don't compare summer numbers to XMas from last year... ofcourse the xbox 360 should be selling a lot better... than it is.. but wait until Microsoft drops the price and the big AAA are release...

what kind of software development you are talking about? Most software being made... are done per client basis... i.e. AT&T or some big corporation contract developers to make a software apps that may or may not be intranet, or web based... sometimes is web based and fat client... but one thing is certain, in big projects a technical specs with very specific hardware and OS in mind is created... so there is rarely such thing as... mmm... I want to make an app.. that runs on all possible.....

They are using crossed (x) images for the trees... trick done to make 2D images of tree look 3D from an angle... but not from the top.. as we see in this images... I guess.. that's how they managed to make the cars look so good.. if they are saving so much horse power on the environment, where they are not really using 3D models.. unl...
It's obvious (base on the comments here... that PS fans or fanboys don't like EA)... and it's obviously not going well making games for the PS3.... maybe EA should focus more on the other platform.. specially on the xbox 360 where they are NOT having a problem at all selling games. Let's hope Peter Moore pushes for that... that way... Sony Fans/Fanboys can be saved from having to deal with another EA game... and ofcourse EA get to save money and make more money by focusing on a platform that ...

What's the software attach rate for the wii? Are people buying games for the console? Are people that have it using it? or only ocationaly?
The way I see it... it does not matter how many consoles Nintendo sells... when it comes to the wii it's all about the wiimote.. not the games... wiisport to be more specific. A bad thing for Nintendo? No.. they are making a ton of money... a bad thing for Microsoft or Sony? they can sell 100 Million console in a month... and I will not trade halo...
I don't have a problem with mods... but mods brings lots of security issues and cheaters into the games... we see that on PC all the time. People will exploit mods for their advantage... It remain to be seing how this affects the PS3... I don't mind waiting as long as Microsoft allow Epic or any developer to do it under a safe environment... One of the things I enjoy the most about xbox live is that for the most part cheating is reduced to the minimum... the last thing I need is playing a gam...
They did.. and it cost them 1 Billion... When they asked them to add the extra ram for Gears.. and then went behind their back and talk crap.. about wanting to give free content... for a game that microsoft invested so much money on.
I just hope they release it before people lose interest on the game.
