Was initially skeptical about the open-world side of the game, but it looks like it's shaping up well. Can't wait for this.
Also, that picture of Snake in the car with the eyepatch-wearing wolf on the seat is just too cool.
Yep, we were comparing to the best new prices for physical.
I'm skeptical until they sort the pricing out, but streaming could well take over eventually. Sounds mental, but look at Netflix. I buy sod all DVD/BDs nowadays, quite content to browse for something on Netflix.
On the other hand, I also watch a fair bit of crap on there for convenience sake. But I'll do that, more and more now rather than go to the cinema or buy a DVD. Could that attitude translate to games? Hopefully not.
Let's 'Field of Dreams' this thing. Everyone that has a blog or website, stick an article title in pending along lines of Last Guardian coming this Christmas. If you build it, they will come. Job done.
I know lack of resale value with digital is a pain, but some of these are very tempting. Good to see prices lower than retail for a change. Infamous: First Light is a bargain there too.
It's sad that I've almost stopped caring about this thanks to the lack of news. But yeah, who am I kidding? It would be ace to see this make a comeback at E3 for Xmas. Sure, it's never going to be a mega seller, but still an important title for the PS4.
Yeah, I think a lot of games are not going to go well on the big screen with Steam's new tech. Fingers crossed they can sort it though.
Before the recent 'next-gen' arrived, I had some foolish hopes that every console game would let us tweak the size of the text, HUD etc as standard.
This was clearly too much for this generation to handle. Oh, well, here's hoping for the next next-gen.
I know, what the hell were they thinking? £40 for one -admittedly great- game. They could have at least chucked Ascension in there.
Nobody's forcing me to buy it. But this is the internet, so I feel like I should be outraged. Bahhh!
Gonna wait and see what these UK prices for the Steam Machines end up translating too and may finally get into PC gaming. OR, if the specs per £ offer poor value, I'll look at a rig. I just want the simple entry, but not to pay through the nose for it just because I'm a newb.
As for that controller, it really looks like a try before you buy sorta thing, but admittedly much better than the initial owl face design.
Might dive in with this. Love the originals and have been trying to find the time to replay the trilogy before U4. May as well do it with this new super sexy version. Presuming it is actually a looker when we see more at E3. Think this is more Bluepoint Games' remaster rather than Naughty Dog's, as I think ND handled Last of Us on PS4 themselves IIRC.
What about the option of buying a physical copy from an online retailer? Undeniably cheaper than most options over last few years, especially the high-street.
Good to see Sony have a sensible digital price in the sale. I thought a sale for them and BB would be no lower than £39.99. Seriously don't understand the wiring in people's heads that spend £50 on a digital game.
Very tempting, although seeing as Witcher III just got delivered today for me, I think I'll be ok for the next 200 hours
Playing through New Vegas at the moment. At least there's more than just brown. Pretty sure I've never seen a blue sky in Fallout before. Guessing this is not too long after the nukes, atmosphere not destroyed yet, or maybe Bethesda are just treating us to a few more colours. It is nextgen after all.
Pokewhat? More of this please!
Good to see a decent length trailer rather than a vague teaser like the waste of space that was Need for Speed.
Could mean we can jump straight into proper gameplay at their E3 show now the reveal is out the way.
Ha ha, spoiler alert. There's a nuke that goes off.
Can't wait to see what the DLC is going to be like for this. Hopefully some new environments, rather than something daft like arena DLC. Ha, not like I don't have tonnes left to explore in the game as it is.
Ha, I hope every person and creature is waiting for you at the chopper landing pad when you get back to base. I want a line of animals to greet me like some Disney-sponsored military nightmare. That wolf is totally going to eat some of them.
