And yes, the site's having issues for me too. submitting stuff was losing the pics yesterday and today I keep getting 'service unavailable' messages on a plain white screen. Annoying.

I'd love another Grandia game, especially as the third one never made it to Europe.

A decent return from Crash would be cool too, although Naughty Dog will be too busy. I wasn't a fan of the last one (not a ND game) where you had to hop on the back of other creatures.

I think it sold quite well, but fell below Square's ridiculously high sales expectations from what I remember reading in one of their quarterly reports. If you've not played it yet though you're in for a treat!

Yeah, I loved this game. Really annoyed how the epilogue DLC didn't finish the story, I would have preferred they left the original ending as it was rather than the non-finish they extended it to.

But hey, Mirror's Edge is getting a sequel, so don't uncross those fingers just yet!

Yeah, maps shouldn't be limited to one retailer. Messes up friends wanting to play with each other too. Weapons, gear, visual customisation items, merch with the game, that's fine.

If you are doing maps, at least make it for all pre-orders. If people are putting down money in advance, before the reviews, you should reward them.

Fingers crossed the other maps feature the similar levels of environmental change.

Although not sprite-based, Konami are porting the 3DS game (Mirror of Fate) onto consoles in HD. That's side-scrolling 2D, you might like that?

I had a quick go at the same expo I played LOS2 and thought it was quite fun. Early level though, so a bit button-bashy, but could be worth a shout.

Good to see everyone bashing the article citing it's not the same devs, despite well you know, the game's director saying staff keep getting asked to work on other games (link included to that story in the article). It's not hard to read the full piece.

But Fumito Ueda (LG director) himself said that Knack and Puppeteer were taking precedent over LG, so I guess Sony Japan consists of staff that flip between Team Ico and Project Siren. Would explain why we've not heard/seen anything concrete about LG for a while. Which, of course is a shame. Puppeteer was cool though tbh."
