they can do that of course. With such sour losing attitude, you can ensure nobody studio will ever do business with them. They will stop DVD production, focus only blu-ray and disallow Toshiba to have any venture over media. I doubt Toshiba will do that.

I think he think that
Blu-Ray got HD-DVD outnumbered and won the first battle. But HD-DVD will gather up with just remaining studios and launch the final attack and win.
