Very different markets. One is a very accessible noob friendly arena shooter and one is a military (broken)battlefield
It's not skill lol, it's hoping some dude sits still long enough to get shot at. Its not really meant as a negative but its probably the most accessible (least skill required) mp shooter out there.
It always has been and was definitely designed that way.

First thing I did. Much better game
it's definitely going to evolve as players get better and the high level kit unlocks, it's a buggy mess atm, there's moments of pure bf joy to be had but it needs massive patches and more maps and modes.
Console players, turn crossplay off, it's a completely different game when mouse snipers aren't picking you off with million dpi precision. (And aim assist doesn't work at all)
In 12 months time it's going to be a fantastic bf game
There's been zero testing by the looks of it. Releasing it with an invincible character?!? No one spotted that?
When it works it's a great bf experience, but on my sx I've had complete system shutdowns, screen freezes, controller freezes, animation locks, you name it.
But like I say, when it goes right it's brilliant fun playing breakthrough. Conquest is just a messy free for all.
Gonna need a hell of a lot of patching
Someone gets the drop on you in halo you just bounce away and regen your shields. Very, very noob friendly.
Like quake 3 arena for children.
It's a very well built game and looks awesome on the sx, but they're definitely going for the low skill fortnite crowd.
