Yeah fingers crossed, halo died with bungie for me, hoping for epic campaign and the resources haven't gone into skins, dances and a live service.
Think people forget the state of fps on consoles at the time.
Hands down the best launch game ever. Raised the bar massively.
The whole thing is an utter mess. Constant crashes, freezes, stutters, controller freezes, you name it, its busted. Zero play testing went on here, just like bfv. Sick of being a gamer atm.
Playtested well then. Obviously not as the maps are incredibly dull.
I can spend 3 hrs thinking this is the worst bf ever then have an hour of great matches and think its one of the best.
It's definitely going evolve as new abilities unlock and players learn to work together.

The whole thing feels like a rush job, no flow to the maps, big empty buildings, weapons pretty much identical other than drop off range, hundreds of bugs, this could be worse than bfv
Put a good 15 hrs into it and although I loved it at first I'm a bit bored already. Maps are totally forgettable and none of the weapons seem fit for purpose. 2 complete shut downs of my series x (not good for it I bet)
Feels very rushed and unfinished, like they ran out of time working on maps and left loads of assets out. Some rooms look like they're from quake.
Would probably trade for vanguard but digital.
O played for 4 hours last night and had a whale of a time. Couple of bugs to iron out definitely, but it's still just stupidly fun and those "special battlefield moments come thick and fast.
Plenty of solo campaigns around, don't think anyone expected sp from it.
It's fun. A lot of fun. And like forza it's fun I'm after from a game, not perfection, resolution or framerates.
If the devs bend to every gamers little whim you'll end up with the mess that was bfv. Stick to the vision, trust the professionals not some dumb kid with an xbox.
Some maps look horrible, not nearly as pretty as bfv or bf1. Good fun though

None of those shift systems like a big flashy racer or a legendary fps.
Gt7 and horizon/gow will shift ps5s. Those games are forgettable launch fluff.
They hang around I the top 10 because there's very little else other than remasters and cross gen stuff.

128 ffa? That's interesting. Betting 75% of created matches end up sucking though. Hopefully some real gems will surface.
Emulators teach you it's best to leave these games as fond memories. They're just crapper version of what we play now.
