That's what I was basically going to say--Pillars of Eternity. And where's the love for Divinity: Original Sin, Torchlight 2, Wasteland 2 & the Van Helsing trilogy? Call me crazy (please don't call me crazy) but I think the genre is doing fine. You get bubbles for your thoughts.

99.9% of people already own a mouse and keyboard. But unless you are going to play an mmorpg, you don't need to spend much to upgrade to a gaming mouse if you just want programmable buttons and a keyboard with macros and glowing keys to game at night. ($50 total for both). Six led color options for the mouse, and 3 led color options for the keyboard, not bad at all for the price.

I own both of these and am completely satisfied with them. If you want the higher end luxury ...

This is pretty cool, and anyone who loves games should admit to a degree of admiration, but man that's expensive. I am not trying to criticize. If that makes the guy happy, more power to him.

I will say that the rig is very aesthetically pleasing, which was obviously a priority. I would like to officially put my name in the hat for your will--when you write your will, and with all due respect, I would like to have your rig. I promise I will take good care of it; it will ...

No it is not that simple. Undertale is a PC exclusive released last month with a metacritic rating of 97. Console gamers conveniently omit the fact that PC games exist when they analyze the industry. You are completely wrong. It really is that simple.

"Now we should preface this analysis by defining our use of the word exclusive. We use in the context of the battle between the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Some of the titles may appear on PC or mobile, and a small number even on Wii U, but this is an article centred on the two lounge room heavyweights who currently vie for dominance."

Oh, so if you take out PC, mobile and Wii U THEN they are exclusive. Did anyone actually read this sad excuse for an article? What a...

Agreed. And I have to add one more thing beyond the obvious (it didn't have enough support). The less than ergonomic design was a problem. The system feels awkward in the hands, and the little nubby analogs were less than precise.

Now for a few extra bucks those problems could be fixed, I bought a hand grip and some rubber concaved analog covers (made it feel more like a PS4 analog). But for someone who picks up a demo machine in your local gamestop, they might be turned ...

Key chain mini gifts are always the cheapest and lamest type of the thing to receive. I was just at the Washington State fair, and while I had a really good time, every vendor, be it Chevy or Dodge or whoever, was giving away free keychains. While it's fine to get something for nothing, it's something else entirely for something that cheap to be used as some sort of enticement to spend more money. And who buys guides anymore? This is lame.

Most console gamers are complete idiots.

Hey, I was referring to their new handheld. Not their new home platform. I want their new "handheld" an HD system in 720p. OK? Wii U is not a handheld.

@pcz

Since when has Nintendo ever delayed a game to improve the graphics? They delay games all the time, because the games simply won't be finished in time.

Are you seriously making this delay about you? What kind of narcissist are you? Are you actually asking for credit that the game was not up to Nintendo standards, because you claimed the game did not look great? Who the heck are you, who the heck cares about your ego and why I you replying to me? Grow...

Nintendo is dead in the water this Christmas. Mario Maker and Splatoon are not enough. Yoshi's Woolly World is already out...damn, but sadly I am not remotely surprised. I love the games this company produces, but lately the only thing they are getting right is disappointing gamers.

edit: Just checked the holiday lineup, so XenoBlade is still coming, Mario Tennis and the Animal Crossing board game. Still not enough, becuase we all know Nintendo will not market X enough. T...

People do count Nintendo out when history is on Nintendo's side. Many gamers talk about the Wii being a fluke, but what about the DS? 154 million units sold, is that a fluke? Their handheld division has always been successful, and that's half the equation when it comes to Nintendo.

Nintendo is in a precarious situation, but if they can introduce a platform that can spark the interest of gamers who spend a lot of their time on their phones an tablets, Nintendo could e...

Bioshock 2 may not have had the greatest story, compared to 1 & infinite, but gameplay wise, it's right up there.

Brings back memories of a classic game. My question is how is this game going to evolve it's formula? It looks very similar to previous incarnations beyond the obvious bump in graphics.

Games are games are games. When we play them isn't as important as simply playing them. Sometimes I get to games a couple of years late due to my very large backlog. As long as I get to the game eventually, I am a happy guy. So what Xbox owners get to play it first. Does that make the game any less fun? I don't think so. First world problems at their finest.

There's plenty of stuff to play in the meantime especially if you own multiple platforms. It's all goo...

How has this not hit my radar until now? More games like this for the Vita please.

3919d ago 7 agree1 disagreeView comment

Honestly, all it needs is 3rd party support, meaning comparable hardware, and it will be fine.

Look, took me hours upon hours to figure out how to do it without messing anything up. There is no quick way to learn it. You will have to go through a few video tutorials, but after that's all done and you understand how not to corrupt your game save, it's pretty easy. And most certainly worth it if you love Skyrim.

And you won't download a virus if you use Nexus.

The article's argument is partially built upon a false premise.

"The last time Nintendo supported three current-gen systems was during the days of the Virtual Boy..."

^untrue, and wildly uninformed.

Remember Nintendo's 3 pillars? When DS was announced it was a 3rd system--Gamecube, Gameboy Advance. Obviously it ended up replacing the GBA, but Nintendo didn't know for sure how the DS would be received.
