I imagine Konami is over the moon. They are getting cash directly paid into their account from Valve. Mgs5 was at 400k on steam spy at 6am this morning, 3 hours later it was at 440k. 40k in 3 hours.
Mgs 4 Sold 5.6 million in total, lifetime sales. Mgs5 will sell much more. It is already at 500k on steam. expect over a million for pc alone. PS4 and Xbox should be pushing at least 2 million each. I feel like some people want Mgs 5 to sell less than Mgs4.. because Mgs4 was an exclusive... If that is true.. why?
I mean you can still buy this game as a PS game.. if it upsets you to have the game more available then you need mental help.

Honestly, for the young gamers of Japan, Metal gear 5 is far more important than FF11V.
It is on both consoles and runs the same. It is best on PC.. And everyone but fanboys knows this is a pc game now.
It does matter. It is not a ps4 game the lead platform is pc. and the steam sales will prove this when the figures are released. It has sold like crazy on PC.
I hear it is selling really well on every console and pc in Japan. The PS3 number. PS4 and pc are looking great.. Yes Japanese PC market is really expanding. The game is doing great. Konami made the right decision to go multiplatform now they have a game that will sell enough to encourage Japanese publishers to push their teams and stop playing it safe.
I love my wii u.. but PC is looking amazing for the future.

LOL Console fanboys who think PS4 is the pinnacle. It is not even a good console. Year 1 and it is struggling with its own games. Most of the exclusives seem to be QTE games to hide the lack of actually CPU power.
Both of those games look pretty bad. They have glaring frame rate issues. I would take the fox engine graphics at 60 fps over those cdi games.
Agreed the xbox and ps4 are not really exciting at all. They need a cpu that is a lot better. Nintendo shoukls not even consider spec matching they should go for the best budget stuff they can get now. Trying to scrap a few extra dollars by going with 6 year old tech is pretty dumb.

Yes but Luckytrouble a laptop is not a tower. But I agree a decent pc is a lot of money I dropped 2K on mine. But I bought 10 games so far that are $５０ on the next gen consoles for $20 or less. In the end a pc is cheaper if you buy a lot of games.
But when you see a game like the Witcher 3/ or even the wonderfully optimized MGS5 running on a reasonable pc it makes the consoles look really bad. Have you seen MGS5 on a PC? It is incredible.

Where did the Kojima is done with Konami rumor come from? I did some research and it seems like the argument was that Hideo was wasting vast amounts of money on ideas, songs, graphics etc., then just throwing it away.
