You dont actually own the game you buy. You should read about it.
Same with movies. You buy a dvd which gives you a license to watch it in your own home.

There is a reason that they cant shut down the dolphin emulator. It is not illegal to provide an emulator. It is illegal to possess stolen products. The criminals are not the people who make the emulators, the criminals are the people who use stolen software.
It is just not worth going after emulators, they are such a small community that it really is not worth it.
If Nintendo wanted to shut down emulation they would just have to port their own back catalog...

Nope, you have to download potential virus ridden roms. Most of them have bugs and never are of the quality of the original games. Yes you can add texture packs..
PC version is not the same as an emulated version.. most emulated versions are significantly worse than the console original, pretending otherwise is just plain silly. Playing a dolphin game takes a lot more effort than just buying a gamecube and the original game.. a second hand gamcube costs less than ten dollars..
Dont care, even really well emulated games never feel like a console version.
The figures show one other thing. nintendo console lifetimes are 6 years even when they are not selling that well.
Snes at 49 million is the interesting one. Most people would think that would be much higher.

They are right. It was a massive flop. They expected sales of 13 million I doubt it hit 4 million.. since it is being sold off at $40 after just 4 weeks.

The 3ds sold 20 million in each major region. A new Nintendo hand held/ home console could easily sell 60 million units
If nintendo was ever to combine its handheld with its home console it would be game over for both companies.
