Halo is the reason I switched from ps2 to xbox back in 2002. Its the reason ive stuck with xbox over all these years and why I picked up an xbox one over a ps4 this gen. Its my favorite series of all time and I love how you can expand on the universe with books, comics and movies

Spider Man 2 was the best spidey game but people seem to forget it came out on the original xbox to. Everytime I read a spidey review amd they reference Spider Man 2 they only mention the ps2 like it was exclusive or something. Why is that?
I for one was impressed with the trailer. Excited to see more before or at E3
Not when it comes to outselling the PS4 it will never do that. But it can still be a huge success for MS and have a great install hase

Dont mean to nit pick but Bungie started development of Halo Combat Evolved in the late 90's and it was released in November of 2001. They made that using knowledge they gained from making the Marathon games which the first game was released in 1994.

I dont hate ghosts but it was pretty weak. Campaign was WAY to short and easy. Veteran on Ghosts is like Regular on COD 2. Its crazy how easy they made it. I remember Veteran actually being a challenge from COD 1 through to Black Ops. Since then they just get easier and easier.
I agree. To me COD games are no different than movies like Expendables or Transformers. They are full of over the top action, cheesy one liners and plot holes. And thats why I enjoy them. I can just switch my brain off and watch shit blow up. I dont play COD for a deep story or anything like that. Its just fun to blow stuff up.
I still have alot of the earlier issues. The very first issue's demo disc had a behind the scenes of Halo CE. I remember watching that like 100 times back in the day.
I would love to see Nintendo show a new Starfox game. That and some new Zelda gameplay could steal the show.

Yeah in Australia we tend to get shafted. I paid $1800 for my Xbox 360 in December of 2005 from the UK. Australia didn't get it until March 23rd 2006. I didn't want to wait that long. Seems a bit stupid now. So paying $1000 for a console is no big deal.

Those are just what comes to mind at the moment. MS has stated 15 Exclusives in the works so we can expect some kind of announcements at E3.

Pretty sure the PC version has more exclusive content than the console versions if you pre order.

Halo 1 was not overhyped. Halo 1 spoke for itself. It revolutionized the FPS genre on Consoles. The overhyping and mass market push never started until Halo 2.
Regardless of install base for either console they can reference both the ps2 and xbox as it was available on both. It also ran and looked better on the xbox ;-)
