While it's great to see announcements of big games in development me personally I am not a fan of games getting shown too early. Ubisoft do it alot. Watchdogs and Division were both shown too early. From the time they were both announced it felt like we had seen them seveal times over the years and by the time the games come out the hype had died for them. I prefer Bethesdas app...
Both fanbases flip flop their arguments to suit themselves. Power didn't matter to Xbots and it was all about the games when Sony had the advantage. Now it looks like next year Xbox will have the power advantage all of sudden the Sony Fanboys are saying power doesn't matter its all about the games. This will continue forever every generation when each new console comes out. It's been going on since Sega vs Nintendo people.
If the rumored specs are anything to go by then they won't but it would be nice. I still think it would be nice if all 3 companies combined to make one console. Then we wouldn't have any arguments.
I laugh at the comparison videos where one looks washed out or over saturated with colour or dark when all it takes is a simple calibration on the TV to adjust colour and brightness on the TV and they would both look the same.
I was going to buy a PS4 around the time the Neo rumors started surfacing. Held off waiting for confirmation it was real. Definitely going to be buying one when it's released. Hopefully some time around November this year would be good.
What frustrates me where I live is that I walk into a shop to look at 4K tvs and all they have playing on them is SD tv plugged into them. I don't understand it. Where is the 4K content showcasing the difference for the consumer to see so they can decide if they want one or not. I have not yet seen any 4K footage on a 4K tv in any shop I've been into.

On the contrary. They wanted to protect it. Could you imagine the backlash if they didn't announce Scorpio and all these people went out and bought the Xbox One Slim Console then next yr announce the Scorpio. Alot of people would be pissed.
And alot of the sales difference has to do with the power. Most hardcore gamers jump ship to whatever Console has the most power. More has to do with MS poor unveiling of the Xbox One and the complete...
Yeah I feel the same way. I think the only things that impressed me during the Xbox conference was Forza Horizon 3 and that's mainly because it's set in Australia and it looked gorgeous. That and the new Hardware announcements. Games wise it was a bit bare. Gears 4 looked just like Gears should. Which isn't a bad thing but just wasn't anything special. I'm a huge Halo fan but even the Halo Wars trailer didn't do much for me. I'm hoping they held off on some stuff ...

They also wanted to let the public know to so people who were thinking about buying the X1S can decide to hold off until the Scorpio arrives.
