Sexy!
The 360 has an excellent keypad that I don't understand why more developers don't take advantage of it. The Analog joysticks work just as well as a mouse, for precision controls.
The PS3 has had keyboard and mouse support for the longest time. I believe whats holding MMO's back are console licensing fees and a huge lack of users that may not be interested in MMO's for consoles.
(my opinion)
I guess the world is ready for new consoles. Here's hoping the WiiU does well because I want Sony and MS to come out stronger!
Yes i can.
I am definitely sold on it.
Here's the thing that people don't understand and why I agree with Darkride.
Developers are designing games with the touchscreen in mind. So when you do play a game that was designed for a touchpad controls are not an issue because it is a smooth experience.
Now there are bastardize ports of old nes games that are crucial with a controller and just does not work with a touchpad only (megaman on the androis *ugh*).
But that is not the...
So i guess people actually do pre-orders. hmmmm, I remember some N4G article where everyone downplayed pre-orders and said no one does that anymore.....what article was that??
It obviously didn't sell enough on PS3 to warrant a PS3 sequel.
SNES!
Mario World, Super Castlevania, Super Ghouls n Ghosts, Actraiser.
Now keep in mind that this was a long time ago so i am not certain if these were actually available at launch but I do remember playing them as soon as i got my SNES.
I could get down with that.
@Carl_Shocker
"Your honestly telling me that Platinum couldn't of found another publisher which would allowed the game to be on all platforms..."
Carl, how do you know that THEY didn't try and shop this around? It was no secret that Sega canceled this game a while back. From that time until now there wasn't even a hint of any rumor that any other publisher was even considering picking this up. Just as you suggested.

how?
It's a valid question. With the rising cost of development/production that ranges way past the millions mark we will see a lot of 3rd (even 1st) parties take less chances on new IP's.
This is a great reason why we see a lot of companies shifting over to mobile development. Low cost with a high return and even when it doesn't go well they didn't take a hit they would have taken if a companies product failed on consoles.
Does this mean the end o...
@Outside
Thank god you didn't take me up on that offer cause I did not want to go through with it, even though posts from Gribble would have put me ahead by far.
Seriously, I would rather support EA in this battle.
Oooooh I love it when billionaires fight!
@Outside
Sorry Outside, I truly meant that the fans of ALL consoles like to play the victem not just the overboard sony fans.
But I bet I could find more "media is biased" comments than your post you had in quotes.
Care to take the physical challenge?
;)
Sega canceled the game. Nintendo picked it up. If anything you should be glad somebody somewhere did this or we would have never played part 2.
@wishingW3L
The game was a Triple A game. Budgets and productions costs are different from company to company. EA's AAA budget game is different from an Indie's AAA game but make no mistake each company has it and takes it seriously.
This doesn't mean a thing. Companies, especially toy companies renew trademarks all the time so they don't lose the rights to the name. But it never means they plan on releasing a new product or brand.
I have faith in rare but I would rather they work on a bad a** Killer Instinct or take over Crackdown.
