So you are saying not to trust VGChartz ever correct? Do these fudged numbers only apply to the PS3 or does the same go for 360, Nintendo and the games for each system.
This is a legitimate question for you because I find it curious that VGChartz is only accused of undertracking PS3 console sales.

You will be disappointed. Not saying the game isn't good but when it came out all those years ago it was different and unique.
But having played so many FPS's and other games since then you won't find anything to special about it. But if you still want to see what all the hub bub is about then by all means get it.

I finished it last night and I do agree that Leon's campaign is the only one that felt kinda true to RE style. And its only because it had zombies.
The game isn't bad, the quality of a AAA game is there and I found the plot just as convoluted as the original RE. Some of the design in RE though is downright frustrating. I am really excited for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and Bayonetta 2. I love these guys as designers and game makers and I will support them when ever possible.

If I remember correctly Sega did the same thing for the Saturn/Dreamcast which in one of the main reasons Sega has to resort to software only.
There is no way Nintendo should even consider doing this.

I never said RE:4 wasn't, but it did set the tone for 5 and 6.
In my opinion RE6 wasn't as bad as everyone made it out to be. It's a quality game.
Of course it's all MS's fault coming from Hicken and the lot.
Even though MS has allowed cross platform games before in the past with Shadowrun, Universe at War: Earth Assault and I believe Lost Planet: Colonies(??).
But yea its most likely MS's fault, lord knows Sony can do no wrong.
MS did cross platform with games like Shadowrun. I think Sony just doesn't want to play nice so it's a no go.

Just finished the game last night. It is definitely a departure but it has been since RE:4. But all in all it is a good game and very well made with minor design issues.

Seriously? Have you even PLAYED SF$? because if you have you would know they have a Practice/Training mode. In this mode they LITERALLY show you how to do combos, moves, specials and ultras. The buttons light up when you perform the right combo. They even show you the motion of the moves. They are holding your hand the whole way. A child could figure out the t...

Darkride is actually right about this. That is why you see so many developers switching over to mobile. the costs for console development is monumental and is approaching damn near movie budgets.
The costs that MS/Sony put on devs to release for their system doesn't help either not to mention if you want your game front paged advertise on their marketplace you have to give up even more $$$. Also costs of patches add to the mess. So many factors in developing games nowaday...
