Why do people on here make up every excuse as to why the Vita isn't selling?
"What it need most is GAMES."
You cannot be serious? The one thing the Vita doesn't lack in is GAMES! I really don't know what kind of games you are wanting to come come out on Vita that already hasn't been released but that is a lame reason.
Again, the Vita may be "years" ahead of the competition but that doesn't make it desi...
This is why more and more companies are rehashing CoD clones and why Resident Evil is now a Michael Bay production.
You guys are still harping on about when the ps3 will eventually outsell the 360?
Wow....after 5-6 years this conversation still comes up.
Again your quick to the defense without thinking on what I just said, you mention E3 and the applause but were those the average consumers in the crowd? Or were those industry vets, employees and others related to that field?
The 3DS cut the price is because like I just pointed out, as have others, $250 is just too expensive for just a dedicated gaming handheld now a days.
"PC's can do a lot more than consoles yet console gaming is a hell of a lot m...
I think the real problem is people like you who defend the price without realizing that it's not worth it for most consumers. All the high end tech, great graphics don't mean jack if people aren't interested and gravitating towards a cheaper alternative (3DS) or a smartphone which may cost more but has the ability to do much, much more than the Vita.
I think its time to face facts that the Vita does need a price cut in the same way the PS3 needed a price cut.
You can tell that the PS3 version color texture is much more blurry.
(Hey I want to get in on the fun too!)
Xbox came out the gate with a line up and great exclusives that appeared on the 360 first before moving onto the ps3 a year or two later. Saying the PS3 has no games is wrong no doubt about that, but in the beginning for them it was definitely a very slow start unlike now.
The 360 is winding down and reving(sp) up it's next console but that still hasn't stopped them from still providing new core titles to the 360 owners. So to say they are treating their core gamers ...
The 360 also outsells the PS3 in UK which happens to be in Europe.
I think we have to consider that the some of these regions the PS3 outsells is very small. To say the WORLD is stretching it a bit too far. Especially since there are a lot of places in the world that don't even have ps3/360 or Wii.
Not to get technical or specific but this trend on N4G of saying "the world" is a bit silly.
Was a Lego game really suppose to be so high profile for the Vita?
@Evil +bubble
Well said Evil but it's ashame that you won't get a Well Said vote simply because you wrote it with no clear bias but based it off what really is going on with each company.
Where are these people?
It will be available but after a year release on W8
He was at Zynga headquarters in SF earlier this week.

I reported the story but it was deemed lame, yet this one has just as much info as my story did.
Could he be looking at other places to go work?
Wrong, you have been countered and corrected many times in the past Darkride so stop it.
We have talked in the past and all it ends up being is you getting upset and then blocking.
Both MS and Nintendo are nearing their console end, and yes there is a sharp decline in sales for both those systems. Many factors can contribute to it. The console being out for over 5 years (hence nearing the end) and the constant price drops and name brand of the PS3. Which is...
Xenoblade takes it for me hands down followed by Valkyria Chronicles and then Tales of Vesperia/Lost Odyssey.
Looking good!
5 paragraphs of nothing.
The 3DS iwas thriving past the Vita in sales at the same point the Vita in now. (I believe)
So why can't we compare the two? Why must we wait a year? What is going to happen after a year?
I find your defense mode for Sony funny and yet in another article about another console you were in full attack mode. You seem like a neutral gamer so why the bias?
I don't think Sony needs to bounce back they just need to recognize that there is now stiff competition out there. And this goes for MS and Nintendo, gone are the days of one ruling console.
I mean we even have Steam tasking a small percentage of the user base away and that service is only growing and becoming more popular. The big 3 need to step it up for next gen and deliver on bigger and better quality if they want to stay in the game.
Out of all the Silent Hills games after 3, Homecoming was the best one.
In my opinion of course.
Excellent spin Darkride, if I do remember correctly it was you who was defending the Vita and saying it wasn't in trouble and how it was on pace with the PSP when it first launched. And then you again said the Vita was doing well and partly because of Sony's first forcast slash. Then if I am not mistaken you blamed Japan's economy and the yen on why the Vita wasn't selling as well as it should.
Now all of a sudden the Vita is a flea on a dog's tip and we s...
