Who cares about if Xbox one X uses this to get to 4K? The game looks stunning, horizon zero dawn on pro looks stunning, we should all just chill out and enjoy these games guys, dont get bogged down with it, its not worth it. Personally i think all 1st party engines, will hit native 4k on xbox one x, with Multi platform engines needing checkerboard, and if they look this cool and good, then for the price, im ok with it.
For the guys here saying a PC would need a $500 GPU to match the Xbox one x, that's very overpriced, the Xbox one x is a 6TF GPU clocked at 1172 MHz, you can buy, today, an Rx 580 card clocked at 1392 MHz for £249.99, the Rx 580 is a 5.9TF card, Xbox one X GPU is heavily optimized though digital foundry compared forza performance to that of a GTX 1070 but that base clocks at 1792 MHz, so id say that's ambitious, but for arguments sake a 1070 on sale right now is only £349.99...

Well said, CPU's in pro, and scorpio, are turd, scorpio's "customized" dont mean jack, its slightly faster but its still a jaguar cpu with severe limitations, they wont talk about it until E3, simply because Microsoft is driving home "most powerful console", and it wont run D2 in 4k 60, so it will be a negative right off the bat. Sony are sitting pretty, sales are good, i think the only way we see a ps5 before 2019 is if sales drop or stagnate pretty bad over the next 24 months, e3 will bring a price cut to p4 and ps4 pro, getting out ahead of the scorpio, that will make xbox next console look even more expensive by comparison, plus with the quality games coming out over the next 12 months, i dont see demand slowing down yet, i hope microsoft can show us some games at e3 to start competing again.
Here's a perfect example, Rockstar and sony have partnered up for RDR 2, even though the game will look better on scorpio, hell, could have been a good deal for microsoft to partner with them for the scorpio launch, but ps4 is the biggest market pull, simple as that, any 3rd party game will sell better on ps4 just because it has the numbers over microsoft.

i was in the beta, few issues, mainly, online...2 nights in a row, the matches would give you 2hrs to qualify then the race would start, but in my case, it kept saying i was offline, i wasnt, but the games servers clearly thought so, they extended the amount of races actually as this happened beta day 1, so it must have affected lots, in terms of looks, i got hdr 55 inch lg and a ps4 pro, the game is stunning, this video is good, but in person, its truly a beautiful game, and with 12 cars on ...
a solid 60 fps would be nice. project cars on pro, for me at least, boost mode dont do jack, with rain and cars im lucky to get 44fps
xbox one s must have given microsoft a financial hammering, does anyone think that microsoft may have to charge, not silly price, but $450-$500 simply to try and catch up on revenue lost to the last console? its a sticky position for them, too high and people will say forget it, too low and the profits are too small...its tough to call the price.

Microsoft has no leverage. All the money is coming from sony players, until the xbox one x gets a decent install base, i dont see this trend changing. Money talks, makes sense financially to go with the bigger user base. I dont think thats fair myself, xbox players should get this stuff in a few months, saying never isnt fair.
