They have basically just put together a mid-level PC in a console box. Cheaper to produce that way. They are still a ways from being out of financial trouble though. lol...no it isn't. Especially when you talk performance. These two console will perform about the same just like this gen. It all depends on the game development and engines. MS just has a more custom design with the move engines and all. Sony went with the more PC route.
