Where is the proof? Show me where sony says they have outsold ms and not shipped numbers. You can't because they haven't. MS giant US lead and sony lack of japan sales has kept them ahead worldwide.
Sony really is desperate for that US market. They learned a hard lesson for ignoring the US this gen.
It's actually a bit of reversal to this gen where MS has the edge in GPU and sony had the CPU edge. Now it's seem to be the other way around and MS has a very customized build. You are right about Carmack and this is what he meant when he said he needs to know more. Their is a spec gap but not so much a performance gap. MS has made up for it by a significant amount of customization.
Now all we need is a similar breakdown from sony
Dude, I know how business works. Every division in ms has lost money. This doesn't mean they aren't making profits. Xbox division makes money off games,xbl, and additional stuff. Why you think sony has come aboard the online charge model....lol Xbox division does well. Believe that. Now sony on the the other hand is another story. It's pretty obvious they aren't doing as well. They didn't even start profiting on ps3 til 2011. Those profits were totally wiped out by ps4 dev...

lol... No it doesn't prove that. What it does show is that MS has really customized the heck out of xbox-one and it's more capable than we thought....especially the cpu. It has 5 billion transistors to sony's 2. Also, the xbx-one does have 8gb of flash memory and has 264 total memory bandwidth. What this all means is that the power gap isn't what people think it is.

It all depends on what you wanna play. If you want xbox-one games more, then they are better for you. MS does have a strong lineup though. I'm glad i made the choice of getting xb1 first. Plus the good news about the more capable hardware makes it even better.

yep, you are correct. Titan Fall was crap to a lot of them and now they are grasping at straws looking at a pick with a ps controller. The truth is that these consoles aren't as powerful as most people believe. Not at the price they are selling. If you want lots of power get a gaming PC. Most games on these consoles will struggle at 1080p 60FPS and it's not just because the hardware is new. It's because they are really stripped down to make them affordable. People will see in about 2years that the PC will jump even further ahead.
But they approve it so they do have responsibility. I don't need to discredit them because they already do a great job of that all by themselves. It's not my fault that they can't determine what is newsworthy.
