They can't fix it. Cell phones and tablets have put a serious dent in the handheld gaming market. You can thank apple for that. First they kill off the sony walkman and now they are going for the vita and it looks like its working.

Its also ridiculous to pay for duplicate cable channels, cell phone contracts, and much more but people do. Xbox live has set the standard when it comes to providing content. It started out being the best and it's still the best digital distribution network on a console. Fact.

Microsoft is approaching 73 million worldwide. November probably has put them over that now. After the holidays they will sure to be past 73 million. It doesn't matter anymore. They have stolen a considerable amount of market share here in the U.S. Sony won't be able to recover that this gen. They won't catch ms in the U.S. nor the Nintendo back in Japan. That goes for vita too.
I don't think so. Sony's dominance is over. The market is split now with MS and Nintendo doing so well in the U.S. and other regions. Not to mention, sony isn't in the best financial position right now but they will do fine. MS has sold close to 73 million and some of those are sure to pick up the next gen xbox also. They were still cut scenes regardless of what or how they used them. Very little gameplay was shown. Same with Phantom pain but what they showed clearly looked better than anything else. That was a next gen engine for sure. The last of us looks good but it's not on the same level as Phantom pain. At least not from what we have seen so far. Sorry, but it's the truth.

The game is decent but not as good as I thought it would be. Not near as good as super smash bros.
It's not much they can do about MS or Nintendo beating them to the market. They aren't going to win any battles when it comes to spending money because they just don't have the cash reserves that the other two have. Their gaming division isn't doing bad but not as well as people think. The vita sort of set them back a little. The software support for it is really hurting them.
