I don't think so. Not worried at all.(did you see latest NPD) There has been no change. MS still leads sony. You wanna know how i know? It's because sony is too quiet. There haven't been any PR releases by them nor have they responded to the latest NPD report. That doesn't sound like confidence to me. The only report we have is total shipments for both which i also may add still isn't backed up by either of them.

Two nerds...lol Sony doesn't like to talk pS3 numbers simply because they are being outsold 2 to 1 in the biggest market out there. It's probably a bit embarrassing. MS doesn't like to talk Japan numbers for the same reason but sony is further behind in the US than they are in japan. Wii leads xbox by a little over 2 mil in the Us. I believe MS leads sony by over 16 mil in the US. In japan Sony has a lead over xbox by 7 or 8 mil. Nintendo leads sony by 4 mil in japan.

No it seems to be the other way around. This topic is about NPD, isn't it? These numbers shouldn't surprise anyone. Xbox 360 has been leading in sales for 2 years straight in the US. It's safe to say that sony chances are to catch up here are pretty slim.
If you look at all locations the xbox has a much bigger lead here than sony has over it in japan or any where else. These numbers should put MS close to 75 million now. As for sony we don't know because once ...

Americans do love themselves some xbox. MS continues to win big in the USA despite having xbox gold subscription price, less exclusives and no BR support. Ok this is for that special fanboy(u know who you are) who says MS and sony never report sold numbers. Still don't believe it?
Congrats to MS for those numbers. I'm sure Sony had some good sales too but MS continues to widen the lead in the US. Now bring on that 720.
They will go away but not for a while. The time will come when you won't need to buy a console to get content and game makers won't need them to deliver their software. I would love to have them forever but I know it won't be.

That's actually not true. Vita wasn't sold for profit at launch. Only one to ever profit at launch are Nintendo. Sony probably won't profit for another year or so and that's if they don't keep dropping the price. Right now the vita is selling for a loss.

How can they track your body without being in 3d? That makes no sense.
Neither one could do FULL BODY tracking in 3d. Eye toy couldn't and PSeye could only track the illuminated orb(or hand movement) on the end the move controller. Neither one are true 3d cameras.They mostly only detect movement. They can't distinguish limb from limb. A true 3d camera scans your whole body's skeletal frame and displays it on screen.

eyetoy couldn't do body tracking. It used gesture recognition like the ps eye which could track your hands and head in 3d space but not full skeletal tracking.

lol...I guess we will have to wait and see what Sony and MS say about it. I don't buy it because MS passed 70 million in October and Sony just reported this past November that they had just sold 70 million. So they both have sold 6 and 7 million since then... If they have then congrats but those numbers seems a bit fishy for both.
If priced right Illumiroom easily wins this. We know 4K TVs are gonna be way too expensive for the average customer. There also won't be any games in 4k since we don't even have them 1080p yet.I'm assuming what we are seeing right now with illumiroom could be done with Kinect 2. MS is probably gonna have an awesome E-3 showing this year.
Holodeck stuff isn't new. It's been around for years. I know for a fact that the US military has been using for years for in their training simulators.
