Nothing wrong with that. After 15 years they deserve to make a cross platform game. I think it's great that studios can pick their own publisher and own their IPs. I hope this stuff happens more in the future.
They aren't analyzing anything because there is nothing to analyze.. They are making assumptions on a game that's not even close to release yet.

yea, but you don't have to pay their bills. Business is business. I guess gamers are forgetting that MS still owns a part of Bungie so they will always get first dibs on anything they develop. Just because they are independent doesn't mean they don't preference has changed. It was a business decision and a smart one at that. Anytime a studio can stand up on it's own and choose it's own publisher is a good thing.
I happen to own two of them and i did read the article. Next game I actually buy for PS3 will be Last of Us and that's it til next gen. All other will be either rented, borrowed, or bought for xbox360.
I'm not worried. Xbox360 is a great console so I know the next will be even better. The hardware will be there, the rest is up to the devs. MS is always developing new ways to play games. They are on top of their game.
I like NT. I hope the game does well. It really deserves it. They didn't get a lot of credit for Enslaved but I enjoyed that game and it has a great story.
I don't think they can afford to let it die. It's really not totally up to Sony though. If third party still wants to support it they will. If they won't they won't.At some point they will have to shift more resources towards PS4 or they will risk losing more market share to Nintendo and MS.
Yea, pretty good lineup there but I think MS will actually have Alan wake 2 for it. I also think there will be other console exclusives like Just Cause 3 too. Rara is sure to have something for it. Their have been rumors of them working on next gen since 2011.

There is less competition out there for MS. They will be fine as long as PCs stay around.Even though surface is under performing the windows attach rate still is over 90% for computers. Right now they could survive without xbox but sony can't without Playstation.
