Europe hates the X1.
Let's be honest, there are very few Xbox fans "miserably crawling and looking for something to make miracles on their console", the vast majority of comments are from haters of all things Xbox. Please, tell me why your ilk care so much, hmm? Not to mention that any of this won't be quantifiable until the second or third wave of games hit, so why are you so upset?
From what I remember, Redwood Falls was so graphic that it was nauseating. Or am I thinking about another game?
So I guess the devs for The Order 1886 are lazy as well? I know, I know, two entirely different games, but still.
I don't think it will be 2x, but there will be readily noticeable improvement. Tired of it being beat down into the dirt like its not a big deal.
Peter's interviews over the years have been increasingly erratic, has he had a stroke? He flip flops on everything constantly, even bashes his own games. Will the real Peter please stand up?
I honestly don't believe DX12 will ever offer a x2 increase in performance overall. It just makes no sence what so ever from a technical standpoint.
No sence? Is that a U.K. thing like color/colour? And what is the "technical standpoint"? Do enlighten us.
I am not one to tout DX12, the cloud, or any other future enhancement as the second coming, but as an X1 owner I am excited for all of the possibilities any of these things could potentially bring. But any enthusiasm from anyone that is an Xbox fan is met with pure contempt, It has reached an all time high on this site. I honestly think some of you will develop ulcers over this before its over. Please, just let us have our discussions without all the bickering, because it's gotten beyond ...
So now the devs word is instantly taken for gospel over AMD,Nvidia, and Intel, because they are saying what you all wish to hear. And 2 of those devs work for Sony, so I think we can go ahead and toss their opinions.
More companies should follow that plan of releasing defective hardware to "pad out its install base numbers". Brilliant! Why do so many people make this idiotic statement? Is it true now that it's been echoed a million times on this site?
I would like to see a new player in the GPU market, remember the Matrox Parhelia? What other choice is there besides Nvidia and AMD?
I was talking about in game, and I was referring to voice. Do you even understand what I was getting at or did your "Kinect sucks" defenses automatically go up?
I think having a discussion with a character in Mass Effect would be a worthy goal with Kinect. Imagine the Character "recognizing" you and addressing you by name.
The argument then shifts to DX12 mainly benefitting PC and just a "few" DX12 features making it to the X1. I am tired of this argument already.
For the thousandth time, it doesn't make the hardware more powerful, it just makes whatever game its running far less demanding.
Don't stoop to their level, just acknowledge, be excited, and move on without mentioning the "other" console or its more rabid fans.
Project Offset!! Thank you, I have been trying to remember the name of that one, I was so excited about it but it just vanished.
I think 8 Days to Vegas should be moved forward, that game looked incredible, even by todays standards.
They speak of this power gap, but it's really about what ends up being drawn on the screen. Say for instance you had the Ps4 AND the Xbox One running DX12,without a doubt the advantage goes to the more powerful hardware. But if the machines are using different software, which they are, then things change. Its not 2+2=4 folks, it simply does not work that way.
A console from a European company would be interesting to see, I wonder what that would be like?
