After the piece of sh*t that was mw2, I will never buy a Call of Duty title ever again. I might rent Black Ops for the campaign since it is supposed to be pretty good. But if the multiplayer is anything like mw2, it'll just be a laggy online experience with boosters, glitchers, campers, and 12 year old kids screaming into their mic. No thanks.
Nolan North would be the best choice. He looks like Nathan Drake, and he is his voice.
Also, Emily Rose should obviously play Elena. She plays her in the games, and she looks EXACTLY like her.
The E3 trailer was the best.
As a Canadian, I APPROVE.
Also,
53. Read ps3 software license agreement
lolz
Ps3 version seems to be missing self-shadows. Couple that with lower res textures, and you have a typical lazy multi-plat title.
Oh well, not getting the game anyway. Not after the crapfest that was Modern Warfare 2.
I'm sure he had it set properly. Same thing happens to me. My ps3 headset sounds great to other people, but the people I play with are using either old USB headsets, or the craptastic one that came with Warhawk. They all just sound horrible on a higher quality headset.
Oh god I love the smell of new blu-ray discs. Full of cancer-inducing goodness.
Home itself is only about 50mb. You can set a cache size for the game on your hard drive to speed up loading. You must have set it to a 5gb cache.
I don't think that would be such a good idea. Home takes long enough to start up already.
It's only like 50mb...
BEYOND!
The Orange Box on ps3 was actually pretty bad. I never finished half life 2 because the framerate was so poor in some areas (literally a slideshow sometimes). Portal was playable, but it got pretty framey near the end.
I don't see why people are always harping on IGN all the time anyway. Some people need to remember that a review is an opinion piece. It's what the reviewer thinks of the game. Whether you agree with their opinion or not does not matter.
Listen...
Am I the only person that actually liked Lair? Sure, it takes a lot of tough work to get used to the controls, but when you do, the game is actually quite fun and has a fairly interesting story. Graphics and sound were great for their time as well (albeit the framerate can be poor at times).
Technically, 1 million shipped units is 1 million sold for Sony. It's just not 1 million sold for retailers.
It's the only track they've shown so far. There's been tons of "Awesome new Motorstorm: Apocalypse footage!!1!!!" but every single one of them has been the same track.
So you like generic zombie fps games?
^^^ This. It works.
I agree, Resistance 2's final boss battle was pretty boring (but the powers you get after are fun for the minute you get to use them).
Also, Borderlands should be on this list. Like WTF happened at the end?
@blitz0623
That was kinda the thing about Demon's Souls. You had to fight so many hard bosses and then everything, expecting the final boss to be the hardest ever. But he's actually very weak and pretty much can't even damage you. ...
The ps3 cost $650 at launch up here in Canada. $750 after tax.
It was a good investment =).
Good eye.
