Jokes on you wedgie, I have no facebook because I have no friends. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it.
InFAMOUS1: I dunno, man. I just keep thinking there must be a reason such information is valuable to identity fraudsters. Some organizations ask you for your address and DOB to identify you when you have an issue with their service/product. Hell Sony themselves required my DOB and address when I needed to send in my PS3 that died a few years back.
So the data was encrypted after all.
So these hackers are smarter than previously thought
edit:Whoa hold on. They're saying the personal data wasn't encrypted. I can cancel credit cards and all but a lot of personal data can still be used maliciously despite that information being publicly available on the internet.
There is something called IP spoofing where someone can use a completely different IP address than the one they're using.
I'm just saying don't get your hopes up. If the hacker is stupid enough not to spoof their IP then they would have been arrested already.
We should not rule out this being a coincidence so soon.
However as usual everyone with a PSN account with card details should cancel their current card ASAP. Even so many banks have fraud protection and will inform you if anything suspicious is happening on your account. They will also refund money as soon as they can without much pain.
The credit card I can cancel
I can change passwords
But I cannot change my identity and where I live. I know well enough what anonymous does with personal details of individuals. Unhappy is an understatement.
I do hope when they say "person" they mean it rather than the entire group. Because if this information gets leaked onto the internet we're all screwed.
Right.
If Sony did say in clear terms that no user data was accessed and it turned out to be false it would be significantly more disastrous than the current situation.
At this point Sony must be very careful what they say. If it is confirmed that user information has been stolen they must inform everybody. All that will happen after that is they ask you to change your PSN password and cancel the credit card you used with PSN.
Billy has a terminal illness. He's been stuck at hospital for years. He can't even remember what home looked like. He remembers playing video games though.
The doctor has informed his parents he doesn't have much time left and suggested he should use his remaining days at home. The doctor understands he's been in hospital for so long that Billy has no friends but he considers it better he be at home rather than die in a hospital.
When Billy is...
Eh...if I recall correctly the PS1 port was a bad one.
Not completely sure on that one though
Nobody really looks at the opposite POV.
What if kids are anxious, the only thing they can do is play video games? If you're stuck inside the only thing you can do for fun is watch TV, read a book or play video games. Why do you think bookworms are usually the least social people?
I agree, Eamon.
Except for Ultros. As much as I love that purple wise cracking octopus it just simply would not work.
Also Steiner was made for this game. He is the ultimate swordsman. Yet again Square-Enix treat IX like rubbish. IX is possible one of the best 3D Final Fantasy's out there. All the glory goes to FF7. That and they buffed cloud up in the new game. Why? He was at a reasonable strength in Dissidia 1.
Not that I doubt the 3DS but everyone reaction I've seen is the same. "Ohhhh my gawd. this is so awesome. wow."
Have Nintendo put a brainwashing machine in their 3DS?
I'll be picking mine up tomorrow.
Nothing news worthy should ever happen on this day.
I just end all confused even if it's something as mundane as shifting the American PSN to a new branch.
Basically what would happen if David Schwimmer got smacked in the face with a shovel
Adrien Brody seems like the most likely suspect as CVG has said.
I'll agree with the guy saying there is no such thing as a perfect zombie game.
They say the zombie game market is oversaturated but the reason people want zombie games is because none of them seem "right"
Really Bethesda?
What next? "Bethesda: bug testing is vital for a good game"
Would you eat Crysis brand hotdogs?
CVG mentioned the lack of pausing and skipping of cutscenes.
Yakuza 3 let you skip cutscenes by pressing START but you needed to go into the options to allow that. As for pausing you needed to press the guide button on your controller. Whether it's the same for Yakuza 4 I don't know.
Damnit.
These normal people coming in here stealing our video games.
Good lord so many people asking for compensation on the blog.
I'd be extremely happy if they got the PSN back online, ensured our details are safe and caught the hacker. Catching the hacker is a bit of a stretch though but then again keeping the details safe is another. If I was a hacker who stole all that information I'd sell it as quick as I can.
