I love Nintendo, and I want them to be successful, but I kind of want the NX to be a dud only because I really want Iwata gone. I know it's a dumb reason, but I honestly don't think Nintendo can turn things around with him calling the shots.
I knew it would get another patented Ubisoft graphical downgrade, but I couldn't believe how bad that game looked. My jaw dropped in the worst way possible.
I know graphics aren't everything, but when a game garners so much initial interest based on a new drop dead gorgeous engine, it's a complete and utter disappointment to see it in its current state.
Sale? Yes, they are not full price. Big sale? Not even remotely close.
I'm torn between and updated combat system and turn based. I think I'll be happy regardless. Materia can't really be touched because it ties into the story too heavily.
I'm really wanting a more fully featured world map and a more to-scale town settings. I would honestly love an open world set up like FF15 is attempting.
I want the funny quirks to remain in the story. And please don't lose the character arcs for Barrett and others throug...
Honestly since everyone knows Aerith bites the dust, I never bother with leveling her abilities.
Doom was not originally a horror game. Doom 3 made it fit into that category, but here they're trying to go back to the arcadey roots.
Pete Hines did an incredible job organizing and hosting the show. He was a natural in from of the crowd.
"So with that in mind, why would they bother bringing it to the Xbox at a later time when they know games sell badly after exclusive periods?"
Because there's >11 million users that potentially will buy one of the most nostalgic, highly demanded remakes in videogame history.
No, not all of them will buy it, but even 10% of that would look nice. That's over $60 million in revenue.
Lol interesting comparison
@cowsaymoo
What are you talking about? Tomb Raider is owned wholly by SE, and they can do with it whatever they please. MS gave some money to pay off missing revenue generated by the lack of release on ps4. This grants them limited exclusivity.
Take Mass Effect for example. Published by MS, but Bioware didn't have to create the game from scratch for the PS3 release. Or FF7 for that matter. Published by Sony, later ported to PC, and now rereleasing multiplatform...
You're new to this whole thing, aren't you?
Article is a little late, don't you think?
One-Winged Angel?
Advent Children really didn't do it for me save the ending with the insane motorcycle chase and Sephiroth battle. But if you like it that's totally fine.
As a fan of complete collections, I would not be opposed to seeing all parts of the ff7 canon accounted for.
Except for Dirge of Cerberus. That sucked big fat balls.
Totally disagree about Advent Children. Leave that crap out.
Now Crisis Core. Heck yes.
FYI still missed one under dialogue
Only in the Gold Saucer. Arena PvP, Chocobo racing, maybe even snow boarding would work well online. Otherwise, no thanks.
Why does the author keep referencing FF Versus? It's FF15 now. Or is he one of those fans that stubbornly refuses to let that go?
I hope they treat this remake like they did with ff4. Practically identical just better graphics. Obviously update the script so it a bit better translated, but keep all the fun and goofy aspects that made this game a classic.
Edit: never mind, just read this. Still very excited.

Lol not sure why you got a disagree. I thought your comment was very well informed and humorous.
